Wow... Salute for the statement made by Mr. Edifier~

Hey... You've never experienced after sales service by other speaker brands. Never claim that edifier after-sale is bad before you even experience after sale service from other speaker brands. Btw, you've bought a Demo/Display set. Never expect it to be as good as new. You should've checked very very thoroughly before you even pay for the speaker. Give them some time to repair your thing... It won't hurt you much for waiting a few days or perhaps 1~2 weeks to get your speaker repaired. Oh yea... You pay less for a well burnt-in set. You should appreciate that!

My experience with edifier product...

So far I bought a M1335... then a M3400... and then a Edifier H330 clip-on headset (which I'm wearing right now)

Well... Problems so far
M1335
i) Erm... Not sure is oxidation or the problem with the 3.5mm plug, kacau kacau then will like "disconnect" or "half-connect". Sound will be quite weird but kacau kacau a while then recover. I do need to blame something here. I bought the set from PC Fair, I must send back to distributor (means edifier HQ) to repair. I have no car to go to their HQ which is quite unreachable on public transport(am I wrong?? ) and... must be on weekday (Closed on weekend, weekend maybe can ask ppl fetch mah ). Too bad the showroom at lowyat is closed, there's no other way of sending them back. Edifier also offered me to courier them back but at a certain expense which I think is not worth because it's 30% the price I paid for the speaker. Anyway, I don't think this is serious problem that I can't tolerate and I'm still using the speaker happily. Maybe will mod the speaker plug on my own, get my hands dirttyyyyy. Warranty still got ~4 months

i) Erm... Nope, no problem so far except it's making some noise for my neighbours Nice product for its price!

H330
i) First few day already find that there's some sound, seems like the housing can't handle the vibration made by the driver. Complained to Mr. Edifier and he let me do the RMA. Even though until now I think Mr. Edifier still possibly don't think that unit is faulty. (I admit I listen to music really loud... bassy too) And then, I got a new unit, returned to faulty one(at least faulty to me). Anyway, current set is doing quite well but it doesn't perform really well on lower frequencies. The sound just weren't smooth enough. It sorts of... like... "vibrato" should be a wrong term but I don't care. Anyway, still nice service from Mr. Edifier.

Sounds like an interesting problem. Explain more perhaps...
As far as I know... Edifier drivers are all magnetically shielded. It shouldn't cause much interference to surrounding devices. Hmm...

So it's the cable which has got interference.

Sadly S730 doesn't have digital/optical input. Else you can switch to that

Anyway... Can you try other phones see which phone interfere the most? So that we won't buy that phone

Sometimes something is faulty but only you know how it's faulty. Haha... Like the H330 i claimed to be... rattling? Something like that. I also not sure whether the issue is discovered by Edifier side

The AMP design can improve a bit. But the knob i don't think got prob. I love turning S730 Volume knob in Sri Computer though FYI, clockwise direction
I also love my M3400 quite much. Boom boom

S730 knob more plasticky (I mean the material ) but it clicks into position right? I forgot the 'feeling' when turning it

M3200 looks good. Sounds ok

Anything from edifier is quite bang for bucks... I mean Speakers.

The one on S530D is powered or direct from Source? Because in lower end models like M3400 and M1335 I owned, it's actually like a Y plug circuit design. One input(from source) Two output(to headphone jack and to speaker AMP). When I plug in earphone into the earphone jack, the volume is more or less like direct plug into my laptop. Volume controlled by laptop too. At the same time, the speaker can be turned on, and playing exactly from the same source.

If Piercing Trebles = Faulty then Edifier product all faulty *jk*
Anyway... I think it's only faulty if the sound is extremely distorted/pecah(破音)/noised. Paging Power911 to answer you.
