QUOTE(Nagashiro @ Dec 27 2011, 05:06 PM) Guys, my C-3 sometimes will make a 'tek' sound on the amp unit. How do you mean 'tek'?Seems normal or what ? I think even I take it for warranty they cant do anything cuz its happen only 'sometimes'. So far i suspect few things. 1.I using the multi-plug for the power, perhaps not enough juice for Speaker or unstable power? 2.Heatsink inside making noise? (not sure got anot) 3.Faulty AMP ? Any1 same prob ? Need more info... From what I understand, it possible to cause by amp enclosure or the components inside expand or contract to temperature change... |

QUOTE(ignore_mie @ Dec 30 2011, 08:14 AM) Yup the cable it self.. It because of my BB phone. The sound are annoying!! (treettt..ttreettt...trettttttttt) Keep your phone far from volume control.I found tutorial in youtube that they used FOIL but it's not really help & not cool too.. QUOTE(power911 @ Dec 30 2011, 11:09 AM) not sure bout it and I can't be sure if this is the solution or not but I remember someone put lotsa hot glue mess over their amplifier and it reduce some certain interference. forgot ady but yea lol that just a placebo tweak for vibration control, the actual meaning is more like warranty mark. |

The plug not actually the problem, its the wire that cause the problem for like permanent lost a channel, I had my killed at the serial port part.
If no idea how to rewire yourself, better find replacement by contact Mr.Edifier. Prevent this problem by not bend or keep swinging the wire over 90ยบ, 3.5mm plug can be prevent oxidize by rub a little WD-40 on it. |

QUOTE(NecroPhilia @ Jan 9 2012, 09:35 PM) 1.I think not the treble problem,i tried to lower to -6,but the sound just don't know how to describe it,sorry I'm bad on describe thing =[ 2. What is that cable? How much does it cost? 3.Pink noise?A software? will google and try on it If treble -6 also had that feeling, you can try out burn in the mid range driver first, require moderate to moderate loud volume. Cat5e is also known as computer network cable or LAN cable, find a good quality one and give it a try. |

QUOTE(NecroPhilia @ Jan 12 2012, 07:44 PM) Report back after play for few days, the satellite seems like buzzing with an annoying sound, how can I get rid of this kind of annoying buzzing sound? - Keep the volume control cable and interconnect cable(pc to speaker) far from mains power cable.- Keep all the connectors contacts clean, can clean and protect it with WD-40, rub with cotton bud but not spray directly. |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Feb 15 2012, 02:44 PM) Funny... the sound is very surround like and flat. It's just like when I set my C3 on "movie mode" using my DAC preset Nope, it is the nature of the design of a flat speaker. Is there something wrong...or it's just the nature of the speakers? Flat and wide sounding. This post has been edited by Cosef: Feb 15 2012, 04:38 PM |

QUOTE(wiind @ Feb 23 2012, 10:50 PM) hmm...a speaker with magnetic shield should be able to block interference from mobile phone right? I still can hear the irritating sound sometimes when my phone is nearby, is that normal? Magnet shielding at speaker is to prevent affect the CRT monitor and some other device sensitive to magnetic field.Mobile phone interference is high frequency electromagnetic wave that will goes through your speaker signal cable or amplifier and amplify out to speaker. |

QUOTE(bulibulizaimon @ Mar 16 2012, 12:09 AM) Let say, by ignoring low frequency on R1900TIII. Mid and high between S530D/730/550's satellites and R1900TIII, which one more superior? Hmm...I still will said R1900TIII is more superior. I had not listen to a actual home setup but on demo set, R1900TIII indeed shows more detail on mid compare to S530/730/550's satellites, the highs were about the same. |
