I am using HP895 right now, listening to all kind of music...except the trash, death metal..phew..
Anyway...frankly I don't like big headphone, and the HP895 quite big...XXL..
Sound wise...its really additives...there are time that I feel I wanna sell my headphone just because it looks bulky, but after listening through some song..like Siti Nurhaliza..just like she's singing infront of me, same goes to Natalie Imbruglia-Counting down the Days..and the pop rocks sound of Kenny Loggins, Danger Zone soundtrack from Top Gun..oh no I can't sell it. Its shine even drives by Audigy ZS.
Previously I had a philips headphone that only cost around rm55, and after 5 years of trashing it, and its a good upgrade though.
So I really recommend the 895 for that easy feel sound. Beware that the bass not so deep, so trance song so-so only.
Cheers!

I can say buying a headphone is more difficult than buying a 2.1 speaker in term of testing. most of the shop don't provide a sample headphone for you test the sound and also its comfort level. So need to rely on the shoppers hearsay.
I bought my HP895 below RM200.00 after reading the review in the mikechai's bulk order thread. He offer various model of headphone under Philips brand name. As I'am using HP895, and I am listen more on pop and slow rock, maybe it suits your preference.
Go and check it out.

The bass is what lacking in HP895, for me it sounds too sweet and harmonious, not really to punchy-..by compared it with Altec Lansing VS4121 and aego2. Maybe it cannot fulfill basshead requirement. But it balance it with a clear separation of instrument and clarity of vocal's singer. However, it still enough to enjoy trance song like alice deejay, kate ryan..etc.
Perhaps u can raed a review for HP890, the predecessor of HP895, which get a good review for it strong point in bass.
