so now im intend to enter the earphones/headphones world.. after reading from the first page of this topic i found that the KOSS KSC-75 is really recommended by most people and frrom their price it is affordable for me..
some question was running in my mind..
1) will i enjoy the KSC-75 quality if just pair it up with my onboard sound?..
2) does the surrounding sound effect will be listened very well with good quality headphones?.. comparable to 5.1 channel speaker?..

i hope someone can give me some clue maybe.. notworthy.gif
thanx in advance... biggrin.gif

1) the ksc75 will pwn ur inspire any time, any day. but it has no sub woofer tongue.gif
2) Headphone, despite being stereo, has a much more accurate positioning than a speaker imho.

ic.. so i guess the bass sound from ksc75 not rich enough?..
other gadget to add on to make the bass become subwoofer alike?.. laugh.gif
at least i can enjoy the drum bass sound nicely is enough.. smile.gif

just read about kramer mod with this headphone.. so i guess it is specially for the bass sound izzit?..

If you're comparing with 5.1 speakers...that's a bit unfair dont u think?  sweat.gif

yeah.. but from my read here:
QUOTE
Another advantage of headphones over conventional speakers is that the listener experiences total stereo-separation with no mixing of the left and right channels, helping them pinpoint the 'location' of sounds with much greater accuracy. This is of special relevance to videogames that use 3D positional audio, allowing players to better judge the position of an offscreen sound (such as the footsteps of an opponent). A good example of this 3D positioning in action is the game Battlefield 2 for PC. Headphones are almost required in order to listen for enemies firing around you, or someone sneaking behind you for a quick knife kill.

it does look comparable and dats why im asking to make sure.. biggrin.gif

thanx for the response guyz.. i really appreciate it.. thumbup.gif
