It's really tiring to go through all the 130 pages so I'll just ask my question rightaway here.

I am looking for a headphone which can seal out a substantial amount of the outside noise, say 18-25 dB? Gonna use it for jamming and practicing purposes.

If you've got any recommendation, please state the brand, model, price & where I can get it. Not looking into something too pricey though. Thanks in advance!

Any reviews and pictures on the Crossroad MylarOne? I can't seem to find it on google and wikipedia.

P.s. I'm looking into something that falls within the price range of RM150-RM200.

Hi, again. I've read the reviews on the TC20 and MylarOne and I can see that there are indeed alot of MylarOne lovers here. I am still puzzled by a few things and I really hope you guys here can enlighten me:-

1.) How do you actually determine whether a headphone/IEM is good by looking at its specifications without having to test it out by ear? How do you know it won't crackle when playing your favourite tune?

2.) Through your experiences, how much outdoor/ambient noises(in dB) can the MylarOne reduce? I've been trying to find this specification on most of the IEMs/headphones of different brands and none of them have it stated. I really need this information.

3.) How long is the cable of MylarOne?

4.) What is impedance?

And did you guys take the following into consideration before giving any recommendations?

Sorry for the bombardment of questions. I'm really new to these earphone stuffs and I'm not merely asking out of curiousity. Thanks again! biggrin.gif

I was wondering...

Ear plugs + earbuds...Koss Sparkplug? Is it any good? The looks of it tell me that it has good isolation.

Yeah. Sorry about that. I believe I have no need for such a good IEM eventhough it is affordably cheap. If the Sparkplug serves the purpose of me being able to listen to a click while I am practicing the drums, then I'll get it. I won't really be using it to listen to mp3 la.

So walabies, can give some comments on the Sparkplug? Both good and bad la. Thanks tongue.gif
