Altec Lansing is known for its speakers... how bout its headphones? I saw a few models less than RM100. I was considering them.

Please recommend a pair of headphones around the price range of RM100-130. I prefer the type that offers passive noise reduction, although I don't want the kind that you insert into the ear canal. So big and bulky is fine for me.

QUOTE(KilJim @ Oct 25 2006, 12:45 AM) Clip-ons specifically? Err.. I don't mind any portable type as long as its not those types that go all the way into the ear canal and block all other sound out. I don't want to be isolated in social settings. Dont think there are any others worth getting under RM200 Are u looking for portables or for home use? Hey guys,
I'm currently using a KSC75 for almost a year and having no problems. Today I saw a Razer Pro|Tone m250 Headphones in Digital Mall ALL IT for RM129 if I'm not mistaken and fell in love with it. Is it as good as KSC75 in terms of sound quality? |

Is it as good as KSC75 in terms of sound quality? Btw, I'm asking on behalf of a friend. Please recommend a pair of headphones, the headband kind that goes around the ears but not too bulky... Budget RM100-200. |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Feb 9 2007, 04:31 PM) regarding the m250... no onw knows sadly. i did manage to find a review on them and the reviewer wasnt that impressed with the quality. im sure the KSC75 is waaaaaaaayyy better than the m250. that exact review i read also compared it with the m100. and the reviewer much preferred the m100 over the m250. Thought of replacing my aging ksc75. Served me well for the year despite going through pretty brutal treatment. I'll say it ranks quite high for durability. I've slept on it many times and yet the clips did not break. Any alternatives to ksc75? I don't mind spending a bit more than what it costs to get a ksc75 if its worth it. as for ur friend... what do u mean by headband goes around the ears? As for my friend, he wants one for gaming. Sorry I can't describe properly as Im not familiar with all these audiophile jargon. He wants those types that covers the ears but at the same time not too bulky. Budget RM100-200. QUOTE(mADmAN @ Feb 10 2007, 02:24 AM) for clip ons i doubt it can get any better than the KSC75. if there is.. i dont know of any. Any idea on what the prices are for those models you recommended? And they look kinda bulky.. not sure if its just from the pictures only. Any less bulky models around?gaming headsets... ask ur friend to try and look for the Audio Technica A500. if price is right then those make very good gaming cans. can ask forumer ezinger. he used to sell them. dunno if he still does. or can go to the bulk section and check out the everglide or razer or the plantronics gaming headphones. can also check out the Philips HP2700. |
