Hello ppl new audiophile here looking for some recommendation / suggestion so that I know what to look for in bulk sales etc.

I'm thinking of getting a Creative e-mu, although not fully decided on which model.

Budget for a set of headphones to go with the e-mu is RM500 and below.

I like to listen to mostly what I call 'good vocal' stuff, and easy listening. Alicia Keys, John Legend, Christina Aguilera, Coldplay etc. However I also like Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Radiohead, REM.

So my focus is music, and my emphasis is on vocals and instruments, kinda. Bass, not as important to me although I don't want too lightweight sound. I'm also hoping to get a reasonably comfortable headphones that at least can be worn for couple hours without discomfort.

I play some games, like CoH, FEAR and C&C 3. Also watch movies on the PC where my main thing is to be able to hear dialogue clearly (and movie music of course).

Sry so long-winded. What headphones should I get? Is my budget too low? All advice is welcome.

You play games more or listen to music more?

Definitely music more. When I use speakers instead of headphones I can leave the playlists on all day long. Games are maybe an hour or 2 a day?

Some ATHs has some good vocals. Just need to do some research on it. I am not so into ATHs, not really good at giving comments.

Sorry what are ATHs? And why are you not into them? Subjective I guess, but some feedback from ppl with experience with more headphones is always good.
