oh 1 more thing, the 555 is not ultimate, neither is the 650. in fact, im not ultimately satisfied with them, and is still looking for something that'd truely replace them. so don't get too excited about it buy one, try it, when you realised their potential (headphones), you'd start dumping your multimedia speakers/entry level hifi and move to the dark side. RM500+ for a headphone isn't all that expensive really considering the sound quality that you'd get from the headphone and what you could get from a 500 bucks speaker.

the 1212-M will have to wait, i'm more of a gamer than an audiophile and only the XFI cuts the butter for my framerates and EAX needs.
Not a tube person, it's the digital solid state era man! Trying to design an Opamp for this baby, but seriously, i'm too freaking lazy to start will all the hastle and then production of a PCB, etching away the copper and that smelly acid, ewwww. Any good high CMRR and cutoff OPAMPs to recommend?

I'm good with design, but totally rubbish when it comes to making and etching the PCB, too much theory and too little practical have dulled my skills, haahaha, a terrible engineer i'll be XD

Looking for something that does it for me in the Rock and Pop department. But i'm torn between the horrendously ugly RS-2 from Grado and the Not so ugly but flimsy AKG-701 (over priced over here tho)

Reason : Well, even with an Amp the HD650s sound abit too suited for anything besides Classical tunes, which i love ofcourse. But who doesn't love the dirty sounds of badly recorded Jpop once in awhile eh?

So, i'm really torn between the both, although the main reason i'm shying away from the AKG is the insane price over here, about 2900 ringgit and it seems flimsy, i'm not a small or careful person at that too. By my estimate the grado RS-2 should be far more expensive and the 325I be in the AKG 701 price range, but this is KL, it's all screwed up.

So just give your honest opinions and reason on which i should get, and thanks for any advice.

EDIT: I don't mind any other recommendations as long as they're sound.

Just wanna ask, how much does the Zu cost and it's kind of wire? And where did you get it?
