i think theres a store at lowyat, i think the 3rd or 4th floor, there a big shop where you can go in, they sell tech stuffs, near the front they have a showcase of sony earphones, then farther inside theres a collection of sony, koss, sennheiser, philips etc.

ok people, help me here, i currently have too many earphone and no one yet satisfy me, i have a RM20 philip headphone, a philip she9500, the creative regular earphone, SE hpm-70, koss ksc-75, i'm starting to run out of money and cant still find the earphone that will satusfy me. but i only use 3 of them and below are my observation.

hpm-70 - using the she9500 extension, i can use it, and i must say i like the sound of it, the sound quality just below ksc75 and above she9500, nice noise isolation, but i look awkward using it, imagine white creative micro zen, black extension and gray earphone, with SE logo, kinda frankenstein.

ksc75 - the best sound of all the 3, but i only use it in my bed room, not really that portable, and the good sound is destroyed when the bus engine starts running

she9500 - too much hard bass, cant hear the treble, cant hear the cymbals (even after adjusting the equalizer), but i still use it because its portable, can somehow block the noise (but not as good as hpm-70).

maybe someone here can help me find the earphone that has all the good properties i said. an in-ear earphone that have passive noise isolation (don't like the active isolation), that has a good bass, but also a good treble, and i like to here those cymbals biggrin.gif. and oh, my budget is around RM200. but if really needed, i might go for those etymotic, which price my cause my wife to kill me laugh.gif)

guys, anyone here have experienced RP-HJE70? saw it at lowyat and the price is somewhere above RM300, just saw it right beside RP-HJE50, just want to know if its quality is really better than HJE50, or its just expensive because of the nice packaging and beautiful metal like structure?

i found a review here and i wan to ask the audiophiles here their comment, and i quote from this site http://www.audiocubes.com/product_reviews_...reviews_id=1786

"Right out of the box they are involving with good tight punchy bass, great mid-range and even better highs"

"They are such a vast improvement of the Sony EX71's (I've had two pairs) and heaps better than Panasonics own RP-HJE50's, they sound tighter and more involving."

just wondering if all of this was true, this earphone might just end my quest for the perfect earphone for me thumbup.gif

does anyone have experience with hje70? i'm now decided on buying that but there is this one guy in head-fi.org saying that he already lost the sound on the left ear after 3 months, now i'm having 2nd thoughts on its quality, so far thats the only bad review i read for hje70, and its only coming from 1 person.

Ooh er, and anyone logged serious time with Panasonic's HJE70 yet?

i own a pair, for 2 weeks now, i can only compare it with ksc75 and she9500 and hpm70 (its ex51 or ex71 of sony ericsson), its better than hpm70, and obviously better than my (crappy) she9500. compared with ksc75, its a little better, the sound is more "separate" than ksc75, slightly more "defined" bass than ksc75 , more clear highs. this earphone sounds great on jazz and easy listening music, also on acoustics, and some rock songs like nirvana. but i dont know why it doesnt sound great with those heavy rock and heavy metal. maybe its because of the bitrate or maybe for me heavy metal music doesnt really sound great at all. laugh.gif . and the isolation is great compared to my she9500 and hpm70 but i think that a YMMV thing.

and if u compare the ksc75...@ rm100, which i believe is...fair, both of them will east dust. it is only natural that the sr60 sound better but probably not enough to justify the extra RM180-190...i'd rather get 2 more ksc75 for with that money laugh.gif
*
actually ksc75 is now cheaper, just RM89 in KLCC, although its still RM110 at All IT
