Hi all, I'm looking for canal (it is the same as in-ear earphones, right?) earphone, which has comparable or better performace than a HPM-70 and has approximately the same price as a HPM-70. Thanks in advance. smile.gif

Most canals will have better performance than the hpm.

Approximately same price as a hpm-70 as in the official price (100 plus?) or the ones u find in garage sales? (like 50 bucks or so)

Thanks for the quick reply. smile.gif Erm, anywhere between (ahem)50-100+(ori). As long as it has better performance than the HPM-70. DO list down as many as you know. Thanks a bunchies rclxms.gif rclxms.gif biggrin.gif

I've read good stuff bout the Cresyn E630 bout I've never tested it myself sad.gif

There's a bulk here with review links to.

Apart from that if you can get your hands on a Creative EP-630 that'll be good, but it seems scarce in Malaysia >.<

Maybe u wanna spend a lil more (like RM179) to get a Sennheiser CX300 which is available in the bulk section (lol) here

Technically the Sony MDR EX-71/51 etc are better than the hpm-70.But it's not worth the money imo.U might as well top a lil and get the CX300 from the bulk (ex-71 and all is bout RM150 iianm)

Oh then there's the Panasonic HJE-50 which should be less than RM150.Heard that's pretty good to.

I think you might find this link useful. The top part of review is pretty much the stuff in ur budget i think.

Thanks for sharing those few links~ rclxms.gif Yea, I heard the HPM-70 and EX -71 do not have much difference. CX300 looks good, but it is over my budget.. sweat.gif Might opt for the Cresyn E630, since it has quite a few number of good reviews. I'll see how the bulk goes. Thanks a bunchies once again, for helping me out!~ rclxms.gif biggrin.gif

Btw, I heard of Audio Technica's ATH-CK5, how does it perform compared to the rest? Thanks. My apologies if it causes any inconvenience for you.. blush.gif

Hi, I need recommendations for headphones for RM200 range. Used mainly for music and sometimes for games. I prefer a balanced mixture of bass and treble. May I know which headphone suits my preferences

Thanks.

Ksc75 have the more fun sounding. Sound nice unamped.  hp895 is a little bit laid back compare to ksc75 imo.

I see. Thanks for the comments. smile.gif What if both are amped? icon_rolleyes.gif

Btw, still need some comments on the sound quality produced by both SHP895 and also SHP8900. icon_question.gif

Hi guys, I saw someone selling Sony IEMs (SONY MDR-EX082 A.K.A MDR-EX85) for RM110. May I know how does it perform when compared to the rest of the IEMs which are of the same price range(RM100-200)? Thanks smile.gif

Also, may I know what headphones have the sound quality that is equivalent or better than AegoM? Just want to know which one. smile.gif

Anyone care to comment?

You have to state your budget first smile.gif Probably you can get the OVC from the bulk order, if you're willing to spend RM150 on an IEM.. sweat.gif

hi all...can anyone suggest good all rounder IEM phone model...if possible, my budget is below rm100 and but if cannot, maximum budget will be rm200...not into a particular genre of music...using it for general pusposes
thx in adv

If you don't mind getting the IEM from our bulk section, you can try the Sennheiser CX300. It has good reviews from our fellow forumers(yea, it's an all-rounder, they said). I personally have not tested it, so I wouldn't know much smile.gif

805 better than 890?  shocking.gif
Pcwork, anything to say?  shocking.gif

Price/Performance ratio. I think performance wise, SHP890 is still better than SHP805. smile.gif I heard the SHP805 from SenQ in Sunway Pyramid. Not really convincing to me though. The sounds produced were crackling. I wonder if it's the source's fault(it's from a discman, if I'm not wrong). tongue.gif

According to PCwork, HP890 performs better than HP895. I'm not too sure about the performance difference as I've not tested both of them yet. However, HP890 is no longer in production. Also, the HP895 is slowly being replaced by SHP8900. smile.gif

There's earphones, headphones, and also clip-ons. Which category do you want? smile.gif

For your budget of RM100,

If you want a headphone, get Philips SHP805.

If you want a clip-on, get Koss KSC705.

Cheers wink.gif

Or you can buy the earphone and mic separately. That way, you can get better sound quality for your earphones for the same price range. smile.gif
