playbook, galaxy tab, watever tab or pad, comes with black colour.

ppl won't recognised your unit as apple ipad easily.

just like the black phones nowadays, all touch screen made similary shape to iphone and black in colour,

that's why ppl wanted white iphone 4 so much.

black is prefered because afraid that white ipad 2 sooner the white will be oxidized and becomes yellowish

by that time ppl already going to sell it off before it start to turn yellowish, as ipad3 will be coming not too long away.

I'm using the white and honestly I'm hoping to get an exchange for a black colour.

Looks more classier and better in my view.

maybe for u, i think white more suitable for me becoz i use it frenquently in lecture class to view the notes. White more suited for viewing pdf file.

lol those are rich ppl, i don have that much $$ to chase this ipad III IV V VI VII...
so i will prefer black

in 1 day u will understand. Selling it off before the ipad 3 is selling , and before ipad 2 drops it's price, u get the maximum money paid back. And u just need to top up less than RM300 to get a New generation toy, which cost u around RM300/10months, which is only RM30/months, Cheap right ??

Cheaper if you't switch to ipad3 I oso don understand, since I'm oso not the type who chase after the newest gadgets. Don't think about resell value, since I don't even think about selling it.

White is nice! But yea watching movies with a white frame can be a pain in the @ss. It's like having a LCD/LED TV in white!

really no point keeping old item until it dies off. Becoz once i have few high-end nokia phones, which after upgrade to new phone i was thinking the same as u, the resale value is low so i just keep it keep it. Until 1 day, all of them dies off, then i realised that i shud better sell them off before they die, which better than no returns at all.

Pro:Everyone knows it's an ipad2 !
Con :I keep on pressing the front camera instead of the home button ! Also I have a digital photo frame which looks exactly LIKE a White Ipad2 !

Pro :Looks cool & easy on the eye during movies
Con: Always mixed up with my ipad1 !

I've got black and white ipad2 laying around the house BUT I always pick the iPad 1 !
That's coz ipad2 can't JB , SBS Toggles , MxTube RocKs !

pS : Angry Bird Rio HD seems the same on ipad1 & 2

Black easily spotted fingerprint, white will not become yellowish, colour inside the glass. Watch movie in the dark with ipad, doesnt give a problem.

for ur info, ipad 2 can be JB already. But version 4.3.1 only.

No it's not released yet... If it's released, mind you provide the source? There's quite a few ppl in youtube saying that they JB"ed it but it's all fake..

Reason? Black borders gives better contrast to the screen and ease ur eyes when web browsing/reading and better movie experience as well... There's a reason why most TV's are black colour LOL...

Ppl who go for White are mostly going for looks and girls especially love white...

i don't think it is legal to provide JB link at lowyat ?? But i did heard from many of my real FB fan told me that ipad 2 ios 4.3 can be JB. They even send me the software to do so in case i get my ipad 2 today.

JB discussion is allowed, just no piracy discussion... Nvm you can go try and tell us about it =) Cause even the official iPad2 Jailbreak thread at iPad forums hasn't even heard any official Jailbreaks yet...
