Will get black.

First, black look awesome when watching movie while white is damn frust.

2nd, from statistic, black have lower chance to get light bleeding.

Black podewin.

Pro - no white border distracting u when ur playing games of watching movies and other stuff
Con - ppl dunno its ipad 2 from distance

White looks cheapo and resembles a picture frame as well as distracting when watching videos. However it masks fingerprints better compared to black.

White looks very nice, i prefer white, but i dun think white got enough stock

yeah, white colour more demanding and looks very high class

White - looks like Digital A4 Paper I buy iPad as an e-book and simple game purpose.

As for movies, I agree the white ones are distractive. However, due to the hassle in transfering movie into iPad, I rather watch them in my PC. or just custom make a cover for the sides when watching movie??? Possible... hmm...

White, coz i own a black 1
n a white for my gf will be perfect, but the ip5 rumours make me think twice, arrive in sept? o manufacture in sept?

i like black better (i dont care if ppl dont notice that im using the new ipad2, not the show off type ) but ive been using the black ipad1 for awhile now.. white would be refreshing! so.. i dunno liao , i might decide when queuing and see the real thing with my eyes.

if i bought white colour den buy another casing which covers the frame, the distractive thingy wont be there anymore right

i prefer black, the contrast makes it easier on the eyes to watch the viewing screen...

Same here, white is more distracting if you look at videos that compare both while playing games or watching movies. Black is more immersive, especially in dim light.

Also, the overheating problem - I very highly doubt it's because of the black colour. There's no white ipad 1 to compare against, so it's just speculation that black is the reason. I think the reason for overheating is more because of the screen glass becoming too hot. You don't see black colour cars overheating more easily right? The effect of colour should be small.
