what is rotor?

Guys update from SC. their told me that when stop and release the brake pedal, got "euukk" sound from front disc brake it's normal, really? u guys also got this sound?????

If ur steering vibrate at certain speeds while u're braking, then u can be sure that ur brake rotors are warped/uneven...

Engine vibrate like how?

Means jerking lah. Ur rotors warped d. Go claim warranty for a new set..

Go look at ur front tyres. See the 1 big piece of shiny metal behind ur rim? That's rotor. The brake calipers clips onto the rotor. When U press the brake pedal the calipers press the brake pads against the rotor, slowing ur car down via friction.

Err.. I dun understand what noise u're talking about..

for you info, me too from 1st day collect car, and now already 1year, sound still there.
their try to fix it, and last time i complaint again and their say it;s normal and all auto persona had this prob

then it will be very annoying whenever u brake u have to listen this kinda sound.
make me feel, my brake is not stable or un-stoppable..

i just need to ignore it with my full 1year experience with this break sound

If I'm not mistaken, that noise will only present itself if ur gear lever is in D. That's because ur engine is pushing ur car to move forward, but when u lightly press or release the brake pedal the grip is still there, but not enough to hold the car stationary. That's why u hear the sound. This is because our PE's brake system is progressive braking system, meaning that the brake responds to how hard we step on the pedal. Unlike Honda Accord, Camry, where almost full brake force is applied even when u're just lightly tapping on the pedal. This is unavoidable, can't be fixed. Unless, of course, u change ur entire braking system to non-progressive ones.

I'm gonna tell u what the SC's gonna tell u; "Ini biasa-lah, semua Persona ini macam."

How can they fix a non-existent problem? For once I agree with their "all auto persona have this prob".

Front pressure must always be higher than the rear due to the engine's weight in front. And u dont want ur car to powerslide through every single corner, do u?

2 ways.

1. Window cleaner: Those blue colour liquid spray bottle, spray all around ur windshield & then wipe it with newspaper.

2. Dishwasher: GLO dishwasher. Put just a little bit on a piece of wet cloth, wipe it on ur windshield, spread it all around, then wipe it again with a clean, wet cloth.
