So excited preparing ... just got back from maxis to register microsim for 3g ... now downloading garageband ... and haven't even got ipad yet, huhuhu

i am thinking to get 64gb wifi only. since i have streamyx unifi. you guys think worth it?

u dun have to, the stocks is more than enuf..dun crowd the mall.

i had a 16gb wifi only ipad 1 (stolen :-| ) My opinion is that the ipad is not the same without 3g. Feels like leashed to wifi. Can't use in peoples house, 90% of kopitiams and restaurants, cafeteria at work, lining up or waiting for number, in the car ... etc etc. I believe its a "cloud device", meant to live on the internet, always available connection to fully use to max potential.

Not really, i have a hotspot enabled smartphone, alse had one of those mifi things (huawei), its still not the same, because its not immediate, you have to think and turn it on. Still doesn't feel right, Ipad should be able to just to pick it up and work, and you forget about the technical stuff and just get things done. That is digital convergence. With all this gadgetry it still doesn't feel "natural". IMO at least.

argh!!! now you making me feel like buying 64 3g already. i guess the area i stay are full with WIFI. herm.....pulling my hair

i think everybody who pre-ordered started to call them today and that makes them feel the pressure & uncomfortable..hahaha

yup.. epi center is kind of stupid when u received people deposit without stop is very badly since people are ready to get it..

I agree it requires an extra step. However, I used all my communication on my phone. IPad is for me to read books, online at places that I'm gonna spent for hours and play games. It's not that price of the iPad that bothers me. It's the monthly data charges. A penny saved is a penny earned
