actually wanted to watch kid icarus anime. anyway is it possible to claim those points from those pin number of club nintendo leaflet without register a new username for your 3ds?

I am Opensource person, so it's free to use and a freedom to choose, the dns server doesn't have filtering or what so ever, so please don't used it for "illegal purpose".

i am a noob in network and server stuff. so i also dunno what kinda illegal stuff that can do. will test it out later and let you know.

Just found out that you can set manual dns in connection setting inside 3DS, only dns is set to manual ip, so you don't have to mess around with your wifi router setting, just put my dns ip (184.22.4.38 or/and 184.22.4.37) manually in "Connection Setting" inside your 3DS. This is the easiest way to get a working Nintendo Video!!

Added on March 22, 2012, 11:41 amwah.. kid icarus video part 1 and part 2 already replaced with a new videos (21 march 2012), too bad... but I still have the old kid icarus video files in my home server, and I'm in the middle of uploading those to replace the new videos, just a bit slower as Im only using 512kbps streamyx (hosting my website on this super fast speed!! LoL!), and I'm turned off the synchronize update with official Nintendo Video website for temporary until all of you get to see the kid icarus videos.

Just to update. Yea just change the DNS on my 3DS ASI. Now downloading the anime version. Thank you for the DNS.

How do you copy out the video file? Which one is responsible? I think will get a bigger size SD card already.

the video files is encrypted and only can play using Nintendo Video software, there are ESE_MD1, ESE_MD2, ESE_MD3 and ESE_MD4, file size between 20MB to 50MB depend on a video. You cannot copy those files manually to sd card, it's mean to be downloaded from Nintendo Video, so if you have your own web server and do a dns spoofing, then these means something.

Nintendo regularly update the videos, it will replace the current video with a new one, so no need to use bigger SD, 4GB or 8GB shoud be enough.

Thanks MaUI for willing to share the DNS server with us. I had never thought to see this coming. First time try out Nintendo Video and will see how things work.

no problem at all, but I have stop my server from synchronizing the contents with the official nintendo video for a while (until all of you guys get the old kid icarus videos), there is a new kid icarus anime video just release on 23 march 2012, so hurry up guys, I also want to see the new one.

Hi, i just bught a US 3ds. I set the region in malaysia but the eshop is not available. Which region setting do you recommend? I want to make the besf out of my 3ds.

Mine is US 3ds...i have registered with nintendo club, but i put oregon postcode since some suggested there is no tax there. Can i get freebies bought with the points sent to malaysia? Im kinda newbie here.

Maybe I dunno la. Cos mine is Asia so got Malaysia country. If U.S. I think no Malaysia country to select. I might be wrong. Club nintendo you need to ask taiko taiko here. I just a small fry. I dunno the points system also.
