DUNU Trident. bass emphasis.
if you want bass and clarity, you'd have to double your budget for DUNU Ares.

closed and open back is different, closed means closes your ear, so narrow soundstage but richer SQ
open back is for wide soundstage and clear shallow audio, aims for clarity and soundstage

Hi all, need headphone to be used for my guitar.

- Type of usage: Guitar playing, use with Vox Amplug (headphone guitar amp)
- Music genre: Death Metal, Hard Rock
- Budget: <RM300
- Headphone/ earphone type: Headphone
- Other requirements (if any): Huge headroom, can handle boomy bass, scooped mids, warm highs.

Huge headroom is the important one. I'm trying to emulate the sound that I get from playing a half stack tube amp. My Koss KSC75 recabled has that nice headroom, but cannot handle the boomy bass.

Also what is that cheap monitor headphones that looks and sounds like AKG K240?
