Overclocking 101 : HD6770M - Hitting that 1800 barrier. For 3DMark11.

Base clock - Standard score for DV6, 1500+
Core : 725mhz
Mem : 800mhz
Result : P1550



Overclocking 1 - Start off with a huge 125mhz jump for core and 100mhz for mem.
Core : 850mhz
Mem : 900mhz
Result : P1777



Overclock 2 - Tried 900mhz for core but failed to finish the test. Core stay at 850mhz, Mem up to 950mhz.
Core : 850mhz
Mem : 950mhz
Result : P1788



Overclock 3 - Tried 875mhz for core but got alot of artifacts, drop to 862mhz and mem up to 960mhz. Success.
Core : 862mhz
Mem : 960mhz
Result : P1811

something weird happen after I update my CCC.
My font started to change.
And it happened in wc3 and black ops.

anyone experience the same thing ?

^ I don't know CCC will change your font 1.
I don't have Black Ops but my WC3 fonts still the same.

not sure if its because of ccc or what.
but i choose express instead of custom.
anything to do with that ?

Express will install everything, i don't think any of the package will affect window fonts. I'm not so sure.

gah, my game fonts looks so weird now.
gonna sleep, will reinstall when i wake up then.

lol.. can post sshot how it look like?

not only games font, even the recovery manager's font also changed.
try to do system recovery but its not working..
so many weird stuff happen to my lappy today

It does, but not for Malaysia model.

why Malaysia always very outdated one? I see quite a lot of new laptops with high end specs out there with price range around rm3000 but they r not sold in Malaysia...

its an optional item..and you need to pay for it bro..not like it comes with same price..
maybe here the demand for br drive is still not profound till they want to put it in the package..
maybe majority wont buy it cos this lappie would be at much higher price

I would like it to comes with decent and faster HDD rather than the Blu Ray drive. I've been using my laptop for about 2 weeks the only chance that I get to use the DVD drive was to burn the recovery DVD, and until now I didn't even play any CD / DVD with the drive.

So far the N53SN is almost on par with this laptop, but Asus already stop producing this model, but you still could get it from the dealer if they have stock.

but the left palm still heats up when u play games.
