Here's the temperature for my laptop after playing Crisis 2 on Very High setting for about an hour.

Haha, I also surprise with the temperature, some more I play with Very High setting plus AA and for more an hour.

i was shocked too.. my n53sv could easily hit 88 while playing black ops on highest

FYI, just now when I played Crisis 2 for about an hour, I didn't plug in the U2 USB, haha, I just noticed it when I put my hand down to the U2 fan as I didn't feel the fan is spinning, then only I know I didn't plug in the USB.

You're still using Norton? Norton never switches off, even when you tell it to switch off. It's part of why people hate it so much. Uninstall Norton and get AVG Free or ESET NOD32 (paid).

Update: So far I have tested the battery life with this laptop under Power Saver Mode, it last around 5 hours ++ with only Wifi + browsing.

@thieflord: Using extreme settings at 1366 x 768 resolution and no AA, Crysis 2's intro level leaves me at about 80+ Celcius. With no cooler. In a relatively hot room where the fan doesn't seem to be able to cool anything at all.

Your A53SV hits these temperatures with or without cooler?

hmm i tried black ops on max, with u2.. still hit 87..

wat laptop u using?
