Hi, reading thru the  forum, the mystery gift is a touch and go. Got my dv6 last Saturday.

Where did they hide this card in all those boxes? Coz I cannot seem to find any touch and go card
*
Me too. I guess ours is the mysterious invisible touch n' go card.

cheers for the reply..yup, the 6114TX which comes with the external drive and all that and yes, I rubbed my eyes, washed my eyes, brushed my teeth, washed my face, took a shower and then rubbed my eyes again, cleaned my specs and still, it says:

Order Date : 11-Jun-2011

Planned Delivery Date : 28 Sep 2011

Planned Ship Date sort : 22 Sep 2011

hmm probably will call them up later today to cross-check it with them

Something is wrong here. Either you got trolled, the one enter the data make a big mistake or Flextronics is having supply problem.
If the date is correct, then ask for a complimentary DM1Z for compensation for the delay. tongue.gif

QUOTE(Hezegroth @ Jun 16 2011, 08:20 AM)
that auto graphic switch how does it work ?
*
Basically, under manual switch, you just select which graphic card you want to use and it switch over to your choice and all program will run "under" that graphic card.
Under auto switch, you have to select whether the individual program will run under "performance" (AMD 6770m) or "power-saving" (Intel HD3000). When certain program run, the selected card will switch on.
Now here is the problem:
1. If you have multiple program running in which some were set under performance while other is under power-saving, we don't know which graphic were used.
2. Some people said that their laptop never able to switch to AMD 6770m to run no matter what they do.

No. The PC Fair promotion is a better offer.

i installed the ati 11.5 update
there is a update of 53MB when i check for windows update. should i install that?
*
No. The update from Window Update normally are a bit backward and a lot of times causes some minor problems. For drivers, it is better to update driver from the HP website or the component manufacturer. The software component, like Windows 7, use the update recommended by Window update.

I ordered my dv6 online and is supposed to receive it next monday but why is the headphones still having "date will follow" status.

Anyone else experience the same thing?
*
Always wait until all the parts are assemble which means take latest date as your supposed delivery date.

QUOTE(junkieG @ Jun 17 2011, 03:38 PM)
what is the meaning "date will follow" actually?
*
I think it refers that the part is still in assembly/production.
