erm, about the care pack, as i call hp they said I can buy the care pack within 90 days after purchase the laptop. Is it true?

coz i read the old post, the care pack registration must made within 10 days after purchase. anyone?

i hv to wait my salary to but the care pack.

I think the 4GB RAM is included in the spec sheet,same as dv6114tx

Can anyone help us to confirm this? I am not free in this few weeks time to go to shopping near lowyat area. (Tests and coursework deadline is coming to crush me...)

for dv6108tx is 8gb ram + 4gb ram = 12gb intotal.

well, extra 1 gb for the gfx card, bigger hdd and faster processor. dunno might be just me..

Wonder why HP didn't equip it with DDR3-1600 in the 1st place. The 2 platters 1TB Samsung is pretty expensive..

It just the back plate, no warranty sticker what so ever.

i check using hp support assistant software, shown warranty until next year only...

do you have your DO/ invoice? did it state the carepack?
if yes then rest assured, the carepack will be updated.

Wai i didn't get any driver update from HP Support Assistant.

as u purchased direct from HP online store, no need for any additional registration or fax; those are for retail store purchase only.

the carepack will take awhile to reflect but just keep the PO for now.

Is it possible for this model HP DV6-6001TX  upgrade to maximum 16GB Ram since is the same processor like HP Dv6-6114tx and this model is upgradable maximum ram to 16GB.

Sigh then i should have gone for this model 6114TX.

hey guys..just checked my order status..I ordered it last saturday June 11, and when I checked my order status today, the planned delivery date is listed as 28 September 2011 !

it'll definitely be earlier right....anyone experienced the same thing and the date reverts back to a more "realistic" date
