Err, no way... but generally for portrait you can judge from how the skin appear. If sort of caota/bbq -> under.
Actually from my office monitor, her clothing is blending with the background  cry.gif . But at home with my own monitor it is ok.

So does my laptop.

Maybe it's just me, but I would like it better if her eyes look sharp. Most likely her hairs is a bit kacau on the focusing, maybe?

yes.. her hair very kacau the focusing therefore sometimes the focus fall on her hair instead.  tongue.gif
Ohh.. Thanks for the input mr geekster. actually I am trying to apply retro theme, therefore I am kind of making the overall picture till acceptable softness.
*
I think one kind of softness that people can accept is when you're shooting backlit with sunflare, those kind of shots, people acknowledge that there's a sunflare from behind, so most of the things will
be quite unclear and the softness is part of the package, sort of a dreamy feel.

I still find f/2.8 to be considerably sharp. f/2 is already like 2/3 stops apart and the DOF starts to get really shallow, not really to my liking.

I don't know how efficient can the original iPad handle RAW file formats. Even when opening PDF files, it will crash sometimes.

Perhaps the A5 processor in iPad 2 might be able to handle it better?

does android tablet support RAW editing?

BTW anyone knows waht kind of equipment football match photographers used? I just finished looking at some photos and was very impressed by the sharpness...

I think 1DM4/3 + 70-200, sometimes 300 or more are their common staple gears. Just my guess. Behold 200 f/2 as well! drool.gif

I'm not any expert on this. just my observation.

mind to comment? get the feeling of retro?

Still not retro enough. tongue.gif

It only feels like using certain film chemical processing but shot in 21st century.

Play with the fashion and location. That might help. thumbup.gif

Light painting, nice! thumbup.gif

I felt like doing a self-portrait of mine in a busy street and shoot at a long exposure, to give a sense of motion, but only me will be sharp.
