Excellent pictures for Father's Day.  hmm.gif
Use white walls around the house, like me.  blush.gif

If not, get 2 layers of mahjong paper (around 30 sen each), stick the top to the wall and leave the bottom part curved towards the floor.
Not necessarily. It's just a matter of camera angle.

That's normal. Wait till they start popping out by themselves.  laugh.gif
The MG comes with dry transfers, and it looks good if you apply them properly.
Hi-Nu impersonating WZC.  tongue.gif
Sword Impulse : Swords are too heavy and too long to get any decent poses out of it.
Strike E IWSP : Lots of weapons but IWSP is too back heavy and the railguns near the shoulders block the head from view all the time.
Force Impulse : Is what i'd recommend. It comes with one of the swords too!  rclxms.gif
Strike Rouge: The MG Strike frame is pretty lame and has troubles holding the rifle properly.

*
then i think i should get force impulse, aile strike lack of sword tongue.gif

ok, will post my question there

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Apr 30 2011, 06:12 PM)
EMS is $$$$... if use EMS then it'll end up more expensive than the shops over here so it defeats the point of buying online.

Damn, everyone has a glass cabinet.Should get a Detolf but $$$$.
*
EMS is okay, SAL is even cheaper, but without insurance and some weight restriction i guess

i normally see the gundam model in HLJ, the price include shipping using EMS is roughly same price with local shop, except XL shop

unless they are doing promotion, else i better buy from local shop tongue.gif

Gunpla prices in Msia must have gone up due to the strong yen (or weak ringgit depending on how you look at it)... Depending on the item, EMS prices can be quite high, sometimes even almost the same as the gunpla itself. Of course, the faster shipping and insurance makes it justified although I normally stick with SAL. I can wait.
*
how is the SAL shipment? as fast as EMS?

it seems like shipping gunpla is more expensive due to the size and weight, compare to nendoroid and figurine

what is the chance of losing an item during shipment? i'm total noob in this

why JPY never drop despite the strong earthquake, even USD also drop a lot

SAL shipment takes from 7 - 21 business days, depending on your location. To be safer, use SAL Registered, or SAL Parcel (expensive)

EMS takes 3-4 business days to arrive from date posted into JapanPost.

Only SAL has no insurance, the rest mentioned above has got insurance and tracking. So pick wisely.

*why are we onto shipping discussion?*

JPY did drop during and after the earthquake. But I think our RM drops even faster after your beloved government announced some stupid idea like funding RM50 million for 1malaysia email project, or craps like that.

Oh ya, 50cents/email also shit.  laugh.gif
*
SAL registered and SAL parcel still cheaper than EMS?

Hey Not Bad laa.... thumbup.gif at least we're the types who know how to get rid of nub marks properly. I really dont like to do cincai-cincai when cutting parts from the runners.  laugh.gif

Neat and clean.  wink.gif
*
dont know how to cut nicely from runners, now can see white dots on my kit, tried to use 1200 grit and 620 grit sandpaper and cutter to smooth out the nub mark, but fail, the surface is smooth but the marks still there doh.gif laugh.gif

i wonder if the colour of our gundam kit will fade if exposed to sunlight for long time, thinking of display it in my room but got sunlight shine through my window and the curtain is not those high density dark colour curtain

and i think of apply some of my car wax to my model kit since i already did this to my LCD TV, PS3, my laptop and my laptop screen tongue.gif

that's not gonna give the same result since car is painted while gunpla are coloured plastics
*
a bit of shinny effect is good for me and it can be easily wash away

since vinegar doesn't work against gundam marker, i guess lime and lemon also will fail laugh.gif

where u are actually? ur profile mentioned Ipoh.. from the toy/hobby shops list, there's a couple of shops in Ipoh:
Fun Act - Yik Foong Complex (2nd & 3rd Floor) 05-254 6291
Wai's Toys Shop - Yik Foong Complex (2nd Floor) 012-215 8017

any hobby/toys shop that sells gunpla kits usually have these markers (except for ToyCity/Toys R Us/shopping complex) and costs about RM10 each.. as for alternative, you might wanna try some of those engineering/technical sketch pens that you can find in most stationery shops.. costs about RM5 each, and have tip size from 0.2 - 0.5mm.. gundam markers have 0.2mm tip iinm nod.gif
*
i dont live in ipoh already, i live there before year 2008, now i move out to serdang, selangor or you can call it seri kembangan

beside marker, i still need to get thinner to remove some line i draw yesterday, the thinner from hardware shop can even remove house paint, so better dont try it on plastic laugh.gif

nvm, since i was free, so just go out aborb some UV rays and dirty air in KL
