Wow looking at your reviews already making me dizzy.
Huhu. I hope I won't find any difficulties when playing the game.

QUOTE(Kidicarus @ May 20 2011, 02:40 PM) http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/lan/checklist.html But if haven't found the landmark (or other collectible) yet it won't show the location - just a grey unclickable box? Or is it my browser, using FF.@ redninja, rockstar social club is already tracking your landmarks, if you use their interactive map which is right at the bottom of the page i linked, it shows you what collectibles you're missing and their location on the map so you can focus more on the story since you can always go back to collect them. The automatic update refreshes more quickly than the RDR one so i can easily tell that you're way ahead of me in terms of achievements even if you got it a day earlier than me. even if you have problems with the tune that plays after every question, you can look on your notebook to see if there's a tick/cross next to the question. Rockstar social club's case tracker also tells you if you're missing a clue and what questions you got right/wrong/unopened. Bioware could learn a thing or two from the rockstar's social club features. Yep Rockstar Social Club is really awesome. Getting lots of interrogation wrong ... |

Just sign up then activate your xbox live, ps3 and other gaming profiles. It will link up any Rockstar game like GTA, RDR, LA Noire etc. Your friends will be automatically added.I forgot about it already since last played RDR. http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/profile/signup.html This post has been edited by redninja: May 20 2011, 03:48 PM |

You have to go down to the map, and click on the legend/category - film reels, street crimes, newspapers, landmarks etc. The black dots which you can mouse over are the ones you have missed.Yep Rockstar Social Club is really awesome. QUOTE(redninja @ May 20 2011, 01:56 PM) This morning had tons of fun getting the 40 cars achievement. Just have to get in a new car for it to trigger. It's now a habit to look at every car that passes by or in parking lots. It's difficult as all these old style cars look similar. There is another achievement for all 90+ cars in the city and that one will be a beast. Collected 19 cars so far from my initial session. I just mainly explore parking lots and gas stations. From what I've noticed thus far, different areas in the map offer different type of cars. So I guess we won't be able to get all 95 cars until the rest of the map are explored (Hollywood area). Also, in a single parking lot, the cars comprise of say 1-2 models only even though u see tens of cars. QUOTE The map system is a little iffy. I'm not sure why they didn't go with the marked line to destination like in previous GTA games. I know there's no GPS in those times That's why I've given up on driving to destinations for now. I just let my partner drive (instant-reach!!) ... lol. Maybe I'll come back to driving around leisurely to take in the sight and sound later when I'm done with the story. |

Maybe I'll come back to driving around leisurely to take in the sight and sound later when I'm done with the story. After playing the game for most of the day have to say that I like the driving mechanics. It's easy and smooth. The map itself is not as large as the GTA games so it is in a way easier to navigate if you remember to head to one of those large boulevards and branch off from there.I recommend the GamesRadar guide for the landmarks and especially for film reels as it shows the picture of the actual buildings along with zoomed in map location. The SC map just tells the general location. Tried to hunt for the first film reel and could not do it with the SC map only. The game froze again when transitioning with Rusty driving once. Also stuff on the ground, like newspapers & trash etc take awhile to 'catch up' and generate as you're driving or walking. Installed to disc and think it's better now. I made it to Vice! The final mission for Homicide is solid. The Homicide section was quite lengthy, but enjoyed every single minute. |

Straight line to destination, and turn when the marker starts moving! While we have to make sure we don't hit stuff, as long as the penalty system is not like Mafia ONE where you had to obey ALL the traffic rules (red light, speed limit, one way street) I'm fine. |

You guys already playing it! Barnacles!
Had to dodge quite a number of 'story-related Q&A' at the official Xbox forum so as to not spoil the story for myself. I also found out that some folks resolved the freezing issue by installing the game to hard disk. |

Got the game. Just played a bit. But i think the overly long cutscenes are ruining the momentum. but i think it will get better once the plot thickens.
