Help ... I downloaded the 001-Overcome_v2.0.0_GOLD_Update.zip file and had more than 3GB internal memory free. Clear cache/dalvik before installing update and upon reboot (after waiting for sometime) I got back to my home screen but now I keep getting "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
I went back to recovery to clear cache/dalvik and did a reboot and I'm still getting the same msg. I've lost my phone signal as well and it comes out as no service

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Jun 3 2011, 02:13 PM) Were you on Overcome 2.0 beta or RC before moving to Gold? Also, I think the upgrade instructions mentioned to clear cache + dalvik cache AFTER applying the zip. Try CWM wipe data (like a factory reset, I believe) and boot again. Also, maybe you should consider restocking to stock GB and then applying full Overcome 2.0 zip? I was from RC before the upgrade to Gold. I tried updating the Overcome Gold again and this time wipe the cache + dalvik cache after the update and then reboot still no difference. Am downloading the full Overcome 2.0 Gold right now. Worst case scenario might have to go back to stock GB and then do a full update

I've been having so many problems with the Overcome Gold. Am thinking of going back to RC1 as well. Where to download it from ? QUOTE(klwong99 @ Jun 6 2011, 08:44 PM) For anyone who facing problem with Overcome 2.0.0 GOLD ROM, you may try the alternative custom ZUJP8 ROM by DiP7. So far i never experince others ROM have good battery life compare to this ROM. Everything run smooth compare with Overcome althought result of Quadrant not as good as Overcome. Highly recommended! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1109145How do you go about installing this rom from overcome gold ? back to stock gingerbread first ? Think i might give this a go and see how it is

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Jun 10 2011, 11:24 AM) I have never used or installed Kies before, but I have tried the SEA GB release ROM on my Tab (P1000DXJPC) using ODIN. In fact, I flashed this for 2 of my colleagues' Tabs yesterday, and added koxudaxi's 3.0.7 GB kernel on top for ext4 and root. Nothing special about this GB release, stock rom + kernel was still slow for me, and with koxudaxi's kernel, it was faster but nowhere close to Overcome 1.6.4 Froyo 2.2.1 custom ROM. Like sifu Benny, I have come back down to Froyo version of Overcome, stable and super fast. Will wait for Overcome 2.0.1 release before I consider GB again. Simple test - deleting a system app via Titanium Backup took me 10 secs in GB, while doing the same in 2.2.1 took less than 5 secs. how's the battery life in 1.6.4 Froyo ? I used to get less than 8 hours when i was on it and now in GB I can easily get more than 10 hours with the same amount of usage patern. That's why I'm sticking with Overcome 2.0 for now but I've installed koxudaxi's kernal and now it's been stable .. so far Added on June 10, 2011, 11:38 amQUOTE(Nuclear_Crap @ Jun 9 2011, 03:11 PM) can arr? i tried b4 this but failed.incoming call direct hear voice from SGT speaker yes can just make sure it's the original headset that came with the tab .. i tried a 3rd party handsfree that worked with the htc desire and it didn't work on the tab. The voice still came out the tab speaker This post has been edited by yolk: Jun 10 2011, 11:38 AM

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Jun 22 2011, 10:39 AM) Yoga, Yes, long time no see. I haven't had the time to try custom rom. Furthermore I use the Tab as my primary phone and can't afford the downtime if something goes wrong. i'm using the tab with overcome as my daily device and as a phone and so far it's been great ... try it if/when you have the time .. no regrets
