dont worry many users in this forum which their tab got new update from kies update to gingerbread dxjpd even when we search through samfirmware that state our country got update to gingerbread code dxjpc.....
u can try flash to  new VERSION 3 of the Gingerbread-based stock-safe file from

http://overcome.mimzo.com/?page_id=64

and try follow the step again to install Overcome ROM 2.0.1 Hermes .....

dont know why.... i think its juz mess up with ur setting when u did recovery.... bcoz it is very good thing when u want to flash with new rom u must factory reset and clear dalvik/cache coz dont want to mess up with the new thing setting..... i juz think so lah......

You mean you cannot even put in recovery mode through the hard buttons ?? If you can, it can be restored back using Odin
If motherboard replacement needed, that is the usual costs around RM 800. However I don't think rooting cause motherboard failure

This morning im updating my tab to get the latest Gingerbread 2.3 via Kies.
But, at 85% downloading stage, i saw an error message to say that the usb connection is faulty. Then, now the kies downloading windows just stay at 0%. But, my tab shows "Downloading.. Do not turn off target"
What shud i do? remove the connection and start again? would it brick my tab then? Please advice.. thanks in advance..

nevermind, i already turn off my tab and just pulled the usb. nothing happened. now, trying to downloading the firmware again.

i never use kies and will never use it
it is just a bloated piece of crap. it is the worst sync software i have used. samsung should change tgeir whole team of guys behind it

anyone having problem with overcome hermes ?
it seem like Overcome have problem with my blue tooth ....
If i connect my bt and make quick call (two to three call in a row), it will cause my phone no signal (signal bar show full) but can't make call and online ....

previous though phone issue then reboot .... but now i found out, i just need to off bt, everything will be ok ...
is also effect when in edge/3g/hsdpa jumping area, when signal drop or jump, my signal hang (only with bt on) ..... but ok with speaker phone .....
