highest quadrant i could get was 2250 using smartass scalling 100-1400mhz. others managed to get 3155. i am curious how can u get such different readings.
*
OC gold is OC/UC capable already? As far as i read, those scores are by other roms.

Also, i can't seem to access tweaks. I checked superuser, its in the list and i even get that the msg "tweak manager granted super user permission" thingy.. but at the sametime tweak manager complain CF-Root/super user access required?

Ohh, i'm not the only one encounter this. Pheww.. unsure.gif

I have switched back to Froyo 2.2.1 Overcome 1.6.4. This is I'd say the most stable rom and I must say I have yet experienced any serious bugs

Using Overcome 2.0 beta 1, bweta 2, RC1 and 2.0 Gold is just frustrating. I install these roms on clean phone ; I even reinstall all my apps but I don't know why I face occasional freezes/hangs ( never on 1.6.4 or earlier versions)/. The extra improvement in speed is not worth any more - I find this rom is unstable. The keyboard is virtually useless trying to use it on this forum lowyat thread to reply postings - I cannot see what I type, the cursor difficult to pinpoint exact location, the cursor jumps wildly - these has improved slightly in ver 2.0 Gold but problem is still there. If I type a new post is much better . I switch to  use SteveLin Gingerbread keyboard which is slightly better
Another point - ver 2.0 Gold is a battery guzzler - my usage dips by 10 to 15% more just on continuous browsing vs 1.6.4
*
Sorry to hear that. I'm using gold as well and currently using Dolphin to quote and reply. I have no freezes or hang. Been doing lots of pulse reading, remote controller too. Battery Life so far ok but hve yet to test on work en.

Auto lock screen working as per normal too. Only diff from most is I'm using Ap set and jump straight from beta2. Fyi using SwiftKey x beta. hated default

Ok I agree with the media scanning thingy, it takes longer than usual.

Buy it - is worth every sen. I paid/donate another  about 4 times more than its offered price as I support the developer for this excellent software
*
Agreed. That's the first thing I bought. Enough said.

AP set from Astro West Mobile ok ahh? Shop offered me 1300 brows.gif

or better get Ori SME unit? sad.gif
*
Depends how comfortable you are in dealing with warranty issue. My fren's AP set had battery issue after a month used, returned to the shop and got it fix within the week. If you're an avid AP phone buyer, you should know the drill. I think for AP set wise, try to get none US set. Euro or international or Asian are widely supported as in easier to root , e.g. signed bootloader yada yada... for US set

One thing i found out with the current OC is like everyone else notice when its active, e.g. browsing with wifi/3g.. battery drop fast like crazy at the top range for me, but slower at lower range.

One thing supprising, if i lock it with wifi on.. from 11pm ish till 7 am. i only lost no more than 5% yawn.gif

Anyway, i was going to revert to beta2 but good news new version coming out, holding out till then.

I saw one cable with black box packaging like most cheap iphone cable box, selling RM19 at LYP, didn't dare to gamble blush.gif

what kinda cables (or 3rd party ones) that you guys use?
*
I have no idea lol. Mine capalang brand as well.. more like no brand! lol i got it about 20-25? don't remember. I make a point to test it in the shop and in car before buying. so far i know of 2 kinds, 1 normal to tab head, the other about 50% shorter. the non original longer head has a firm "click" if you insert to tab and pull out need a bit of force, while the shorter one just slide off with just a slight pull lol.

My fren wanted the shorter one, i prefer the affirmative "click" hehe. So far since i got my tab which is about oh 3 months? no prob with the cables..*touch wood*

hi guys 1 small question for those using koxudaxi kernel, any one of u managed to get the 3000+ quadrant, i tried the recent kernel 3.0.8 and 3.0.7. still the best i could get was 22++ with scaling to 1.4 ghz smartass
although the response felt from 3.0.8 was better i think.

using overcome 1.6.4 rom & kernel v2.1.6  i got 24++.

i would like to know what's the secret lol
*
3K plus are stagefright scores, it has the effect of boosting quadrant scores as opposed to using opencore. Take note that it does not reflect real performance gained by using sf.

My main gripe for previous version is the SD/internal storage scanning.. takes ages! and wifi instability.

Is it fixed now?

If you're already on Overcome GB - beta or rc or gold, you should just flash the non-wipe zipfile via CWM/recovery. Don't forget to wipe the caches (cache & dalvik cache) first.
*
Err.. if i'm not mistaken, if you flash with non-wipe, you don't need to do wipe caches as the new installer takes care of that.

Also my widget picker was gone. Had to manually get it.

Updated via no-wipe. Apart from that, i'm liking it. Gonna run it through the mill as a daily driver.
