same for Da Men.

My observations:
- Basement car park still dusty. Free parking.
- half of the shops still not open.
- toilets still bare (no soap) and quite shoddy workmanship. I went to the higher level; so maybe that's why.
- bigger Jaya Grocer. Nice setup. Al fresco not ready.
- there's some nice eateries. They may not be cheap. No usual fast food outlets like macd, kfc, etc.
- exit from mall may be caught in jam. Was stuck in jam coz a big truck stalled in the two lane road.

I'm not sure if I'll be frequenting this mall often. Not really clear what the concept of the mall is. If just food, I think other malls have similar type of restaurants (except the jap steamboat I saw there). If shopping, no anchor tenants or departments there.

Anyway, just my opinion.

Today still no people?

I went today. Still alot of shops renovating and not open yet. Shoplotts facing street all not ready at all and still kosong.

Inside, no fastfood. All expensive restaurants and cafes. Saw soooo many coffee joints like:

1. Starbucks
2. Coffeebean
3. Dalkom Haute
4. Juan Valdez
5. Doi Chang
6. Tea Press

I think there were more but couldnt remember them all. There are 2 food courts. One in the basement floor like Pavilion and another on 4th floor. The basement one is a regular foodcourt, saw quite alot of nice stuff like B.bap Korean food at the food court etc. The 4th Floor foodcourt still not fully operational, it's a cashless system with coupons. Not sure how it works? Something like Marche? Jaya Grocer here is very big and selling the usual things you see in other Jaya Grocers like Wagyu beef. The kitchen not ready yet but I saw it's under con along with a coffee vendor (smth new).

ALOT of expensive restaurants. Saw some like Morganfields, Sukiya, Bali and Spice, Grandmamas. At the 4th Floor theres a Japanese food street which has alot of Japanese restaurants. Pasarbella is an anchore tenant on the 3rd floor, taking a large chunk of the center. Pasarbella sells craft beers, imported cheeses and alot of funky stuff ala BIG.

The way I see it, this is something like Empire/Publika style with alot of restaurants and alot of interesting higher end stuff. Am very excited. The shoplots haven't even VP yet and there are still more things coming, Very happy with what I'm seeing. Congrat USJ lang for your new high end mall.

Boss, while i strongly agree with yr statement abt how we are walking into a recession, I'm very sure 2 new malls in 2016 will perform VERY well. One will be opening in March & the other one late 2016 or 1H 2017.

Time will tell & i will review these statements when both names open

Don't know where all the wrong info and misleading posters come from. Went to Damen on Friday to get glasses from the Owl in Damen. Nam Heong queue was madness. People sitting outside at the chairs waiting. 

Is it that good? Was lazy to wait so went to eat B.Bap instead. It was pretty good, same as the Avenue K KLCC branch. Price restaurant level but food was good.

Jam? High traffic commercial area is like this lar. If commercial area no jam i lagi worried. Lol.

stil quite cheap at rm6-9 but how was the overall crowd fr damen apart from namheong??

paiseh wana take liao.. not big crowd aso.. only big crowd was namheong with some ppl hving to queue. next time i take namheong pic if i ever return, that is

Dm couldn't attract crowd during festive peak period, doubt it could at other time.
