Just received this SMS on my Hotlink number.
"RM0.00. Successful registration. No subscription fee. Price: RM3.00/SMS (Excl. GST). 3SMS/Week. Renewal on 26/01/17. To cancel, send STOP DT to 33300"
Called Hotlink (123) and the rep claimed she could not (or would not?) identify the advertiser or what service I may have 'accidentally' signed up for. She just asked if I'd like to cancel the subscription, and I said yes.
Hate this shit.

Just noticed that every time the stupid sms above is received, 94 sen is deducted from my credit balance. Received the same SMS today plus another SMS that deducted RM3. I called CS again to have this shit canceled. Almost RM5 gone in 2 days, should I submit a complaint to MCMC?

In total I have lost rm15 of my credit within 2 days.
Calls to CS only result in them promising to turn my 'subscription' off. No success.
Finally posted a complaint on Ask Hotlink (FB) last nite and it looks like the junk sms and credit deductions have stopped for now.
I plan to contact MCMC and ask if there is a way to recover the money that's been stolen from me.
