i think those apks are sync stuff..and the constant syncing is whats draining our batt..i think laa..haha

my phone has been on batter for about 1 day, 13 hours and 20 mins now!
battery is currently at 23%!

cleared data for software update and
oh yea, i downloaded an app called SetCPU and changed its setting to "Conservative"
cuz by default, our CPU is set at "On Demand" which eats up alot of our batt. i read this somewhere on XDA

yeaa, i do feel a considerable lag. but nothing too significant.
and i dont use my sgs for heavy gaming anyways
for me, its battery > performance! haha

unified remote works like a charm for me!
control via wifi
myself, i use my phone's data plan, then connect my laptop to my phone via mobile AP

ur phone needs to be rooted i think..
if ur phone is rooted, use super manager, can access root files

im on goatrip 1.8,
and touchwiz 4, its kinda cool
i like that i view the widgets when im putting it on the homescreen
so far no fc's

im on goatrip 1.8 and now have experienced sudden freezes when playing with some apps/games!
3, 4 times already i had to remove the battery to reboot it!
mayb its the tw4 included in this rom that's causing this problem?
thinking of jumping ship to other custom roms
any suggestions?

i think im on stock kernel..cant remember ever flashing any kernels..haha

I think 2g is ok if u plan on using whatsapp only, as u're only sending/receiving small amounts of data

try downloading an app called extended controls
u can make ur own power control widget with whatever u want, from 2g/3g, use packet data and other stuff

guys, how exactly do u change from rfs to ext4?
do we have to do it manually..?
or is it done automatically when u flash a custom rom?
