fugu kernel only support jfs and ext4.. so it supports both, whether you're coming from ext4 or default rfs file system. it's very easy, download tar file and flash with Odin. you can search and download 'fuguappfree' to toggle jfs and ext4.. as far as i know, i can't convert back to rfs using the app (for example if you want to use Hardcore kernel which only supports rfs at the moment).. i have to convert to ext4, then flash CF-Kernel and convert to rfs.. its a long way..

When you flash fugu kernel, it straight away converts to jfs. So if you want to change to CF-root kernel:
1. Download fugu app (free edition)
2. Using that app, convert everything to ext4
3. Flash CF-ROOT kernel
4. Now you are in cf-kernel in ext4
5. If u want to make it back to rfs, download 'ext4 app' by chainfire and convert it to rfs

thats very odd, that incident only happens to me if the .zip / .tar file is a corrupted file.. I recommend you to double check any tar/zip file by double click it and open archive in WinRar.. if winrar can open, that means the file is fine.. For now, try to flash other Rom to get your phone back in action

Regarding Android 2.3.4, when i open CyanogenMod download site, is the latest (most above) file is the Android 2.3.4? or to be exact, this link http://sourceforge.net/projects/teamhacksu...ed.zip/download ??

How to use nightly-update by CyanogenMod? rename to update.zip and apply? or just flash it straight away in CWM?

Yea you're right. MIUI has very nice UI.. i miss miui a bit But using bilboa's kernel on cm7 is wonderful experience!

I'm on big testing right now. I'm trying to use SetCPU and Pimp My CPU in parallel bcoz a lots of devs say dont use both apps together.

Setcpu is to set profiles especially when temperature gets over certain °C .. and also profile to use lower frequency when screen is off. I also OC to 1.3ghz on setcpu

While pimp cpu is used to undervolt states. Just wanna see how far my sgs can stay stable with these configs if nothing happens, i can save a lot of batt juice

If you look in About Phone, what kernel does it say? Fugu or CF?

What problem? Wifi error? Cant detect router? Keep obtaining ip?

Sorry i just woke up from sleep yea, latest bilboa kernel works with cm7 which supports gingerbread 2.3.4

Actually i'm on MIUI v7c.. juat flashed last night.. i just wanna see how much the latest version overcomes with batt drain. And i found its pretty good! But my feeling says cm7 is much better, less batt drain. And using MIUI gets very hot very quick. Lucky i use setCPU to control frequency on certain temperature.

I will revert back to cm7 soon
