QUOTE(ic3joker @ May 7 2011, 10:34 AM) if u on rc6 do not install any themes or else ur phone will stuck. Yes. Download both file. After flash EZBase, flash initial kernel with Odin without autoreboot. Then reboot manually to CWM and flash initial zip file (the 90mb file)Added on May 7, 2011, 6:44 pmneed double confirm. i just need to download two file to flash cm7 right?1 is kernel-cm-7-INITIAL-galaxys-signed.zip and another one is update-cm-7-INITIAL-galaxys-signed.zip. correct? QUOTE(stereokumonomu @ May 7 2011, 10:49 PM) anyone what is the name for the app that do this function, Not sure what exact app you're looking for but i think 'SeePU' does the same thingwhen pull down the notification bar, it will inform since when the last time the device is charged or plug in to usb. and how long has the battery last since. also, there will be small writing to inform the cpu clock and the cpu temperature last time im using the darky v8, the apps is installed with. but not included with darky v10 i think, theres no more such thing in my notification bar |

@ken2291, i just installed guerrilla bob, pes2011 and reckless racing but didnt hv time to play it yet. Will let u know asap
@phyz. I flash JVH base, then flash CF-Root without tick autoreboot, then reboot to CWM and flash Tweaky Rom. It didnt come with Superuser app but i can use RootExplorer, ShootMe, MarketEnabler and other apps which required root access. |

There are 4 kernels for cm7 which are stock kernel, TK-Glitch, bilboa1 and platypus.. i've been using all kernels and i prefer platypus.. because you won't OC up to 1.5ghz will you? QUOTE(zumapuma @ May 9 2011, 01:15 PM) err guys, i've just flashed to miui MGv1 Yea, i have that same problem too. You must flash older version first, for.example Miui by bozdag, then flash MGv1 as update, on top of bozdag'sfollowed all the steps according to theandroidsoul but it cant detect my network... the sim card's inserted just fine, everything was ok when i flashed to froyo just now.. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks Added on May 9, 2011, 9:51 pm QUOTE(noobie1 @ May 9 2011, 01:45 PM) 1 thing i dun understand about cm, nightly mean they will update nightly?OTA update or we need to update use odin/cwm? Nightly is update version on top of Initial.. when devs can solve certain bugs, they release nightlies.. after satisfy enuff, they compile all fixes and make it Initial..download nightlies and flash with CWM.. initial is full wipe, nightly dont wipe This post has been edited by pcboy: May 9 2011, 09:53 PM |

QUOTE(sengasdf @ May 9 2011, 02:18 PM) The problem with MIUI or cm7, I can't restore apps using mybackup pro, TB or other apps.. even Nandroid backup gives me FC on almost all apps.. I have to start everything from scratch *on 2nd thought, i think it's because of cm7 external sd is located at /emmc folder.. so all backup apps face problem to retrieve the data... just my 2cent |
