OK...my parcel confirmed delayed. Today is the estimated arrival date and the postman already left. Still no sign of any parcel.
Should I contact Amazon now or should I wait for a couple more days? How, how, how? |

At last , Toy Story 3 4 Disc edition arrived. This particular eBay seller is trustable. I have purchased many from him. This TS3 cost me RM60 only including shipping. Cheap!

For one, HKers purchasing power is strong. Secondly, enforcement against piracy is taken seriously by the authorities. However, that is not to say that piracy does not exist at all. Sure, you can still find pirated stuff in HK, but usually this is something that a casual tourist would not stumble upon in the mainstream. You would need to know specifically where to go to (usually on the higher floors of some secluded building off the main zones) and the protocol for purchasing such stuff (i.e. select and pay for your orders first, come back 30-45 mins later and collect at another location through a small peeping hole through a reinforced steel door!). Quite an interesting experience for the uninitiated lol. But surely not something any tourist or casual visitor would want to go through. For the locals hell-bent on getting their materials ILLEGALLY, they don't really need to resort to buying pirated BDs when they can download them off the internet. You can get a 100Mbps internet package for about HK$100 per month, with no capping and consistently fast speeds. Bandwidth is quality-controlled by a quota system i.e. limited to x number of users (subscriptions) per floor/block of building. Anyway, I digress. So to surmise, my point is that as a rule of thumb, you basically won't be able to find pirated BDs at street-level retailers and in shopping malls. QUOTE(yonggoh @ May 4 2011, 01:35 PM) PM me once your dates are confirmed. i'll bring u BD shopping around HK. HT/hifi shopping too if u want. QUOTE(wiNd @ May 5 2011, 04:01 PM) Reply by AmazonHello, I'm so sorry to hear your DVD's didn't arrive by the estimated delivery date of March 5, 2011. I'd definitely help you in this regard. In my experience, late packages arrive not long after the estimated delivery date. Please wait a little longer, until June 3, 2011, before requesting a refund or replacement. Otherwise, you might have to deal with returning a package. To compensate for any inconvenience, I have refunded your shipping costs. A refund in the amount of $20.95. You'll see the refund to your Master Card in the next 2-3 business days. I realize a refund can't fully make up for the late arrival of this order. Please accept it as a goodwill gesture and an apology for any inconvenience. Packages shipped internationally are sent to the carrier's nearest regional shipping hub and then delivered to customers by their local postal authorities. Tracking and delivery confirmation is only available if the carrier provides it to Amazon.com. I'm forwarding your feedback about IPARCEL carrier to our shipping department--I know they'll want to hear about your experience. We're aware that our choice of delivery services reflects on our business as a whole, and we appreciate your feedback. I'll personally follow up with you to see if you've received the package after June 3, 2011. If you haven't received your package at that time, I’ll make sure to get a refund or replacement for you. Thanks for your patience. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Really hope Iparcel can buck up. But this is the second consecutive time that my shipment is late. But it is also the second consecutive time that Amazon refund my shipping charges. But DAMN..I still have another parcel worth RM300+ sending through IPARCEL - estimated to arrive on 24th May. I really do not want to experience late delivery for the 3rd consecutive time. Sigh... This post has been edited by johnsontys: May 5 2011, 07:23 PM |
