Amazon Canada really that great! It do ship using DHL even you only choose Standard shipping!

WOw!

Now I got a question, as I count already, I can save RM100 if I get the LOTR EE box set at Canada as I only need to choose Standard and it send via priority courier.

Now what worried me is LOTR EE set at Canada is release by Alliance but I found it is license by New Line. I think transfer shall be the same.

What I worried is the packaging, do you think it will same as US packaging or not, as I more prefer the US edition packaging. I only knew Canada don't have Digital Copy but I am ok with it since I don't need.

Beside this, anyone facing before Amazan Canada did not use priority courier if choose standard shipping, or all the while Amazan Canada give you priority courier for standard shipment?

For packing, better wait someone post the packing for Canada version. That could mean after release date.

hmmm.... think so... but I hardly find any packaging from Canada being post, you got any specific forum for Canada?

Beside this, is Amazon Canada all the time using DHL? Do you guys face before it use standard post?

few things to share:

packing - should be same, but AMZ CANADA ALLIANCE might add French in the title

quality - should be same, got few titles (double dip) from AMZ US & CANADA, quality is same

shipping - risky - no gurantee will always use 1st class priority, u can check back this forum few weeks ago, 1 dude kena the normal shipment, the estimated time is in months

The French subtitle is not hard print right? Can on/off as preferable right?

Edit: Just search this thread, ya got one user kena Canada normal post, he only order one title, most probably because of one title only issue? or is because Canada still facing Post strike issue? that why it use Priority now? If this is the case, then I do hope Canada Postman un-stop strike.

sorry dude, what i meant is title, not subtitle, it is printed on the cover & cannot be remove, if there is any.

i will stick to AMZ US for this round

u might want to check out some CRITERION & DIGIBOOK are actually cheaper at AMZ CANADA, if u really buy LOTR from CANADA, must well add few more items.

I am still waiting for my order from amazon ca, which was shipped on 26 April 2011 via canada post. their estimated delivery time is 3 months i.e. 26 July 2011.

How cheap can it goes this time? Me very interested too.

i think should be around U$150 (now at U$190), plus postage, actually is > than RM500, might trigger custom.

I got it for USD124.99 but the shipping was more expensive than usual for 1 item which was USD16.98.

I paid total USD141.97 including shipping.

Btw, when I bought it, I already had Lost S1-S6 separately ...I am really a big fan of LOST....

no...tot of collecting the whole series..but then the action figures sales was poor and they didnt release the whole series...

ok, no problem, bro, if u can following the 3 rules below:

1 - no iphone - i am using an old nokia phone, no camera, even no color

2 - no travelling - i have forbiden myself for any oversea travel since 911 - scare of flying

3 - no car > RM100K - instead of buying a cool japanese car, i went for a cheap korea made car

with these 3 odd lifestyle, u can buy 50% AMZ BD, but only do it after u got married, or else i can gurantee u will never found a girlfriend, cause no female can stand this type of boring lifestyle.


also got lucky few months back, bought some MACAU CASINO share & got double return

but recently lost almost half in china solar company, sweating

As long as u choose standard shipping, there will be risk that your order will be shipped by normal post and u can't complain as it is clearly stated in their website that delivery for standard shipping takes 10 to 12 weeks
Because of the info I get from this thread i.e. amazon ca is so generous to upgrade standard shipping to priority, I placed my 1st order with amazon ca using standard shipping hoping to get priority upgrade. It may or may not be true that it is because of 1 title that my order was being shipped by normal post but I just don't want to take the risk to order a lot of titles but end up waiting for 3 months for the shipment to arrive. It is still ok if it is only 1 title (for testing). Based on the test result, I will not buy from amazon ca using standard shipping anymore.
