how do I stop my books from becoming like this?

http://i.imgur.com/YIWz3.jpgTop 2: bought them 3 months ago Bottom: an older volume of the same book by the same publisher, bought a year ago. Seriously, how do I stop my books from turning yellow? :<

1) use acid free paper to make your books.
2) reduce exposure to light, moisture, and oxygen.
3) when it's really bad, use a guillotine and trim off 0.5mm from each of the 3 sides. Presto! New book! Of course you can only do this a few times ...
