Hi All..
as we know, there's a deduction for interest paid for the housing loan*.
For islamic loan, how do you calculate the interest paid for that year? If I'm not mistaken, the statement is different that conventional loan, in the yearly, there's no specific statement that tells how much interest has been paid.

*of course according to term & condition..

Hi Guys, I hope I can get clarification here.

I'm entitled to deduct my housing loan interest.. or "Faedah Pinjaman Perumahan" (because I signed the S&P within that stated period and fulfill all other conditions).

However, since I'm using islamic loan, there's no such term
as loan interest. In my annual statement, it states as
principal paid and profit charged.

So, is profit charged = housing loan interest?

As long as the delivery address and name is the same as the person seeking the tax relief, it would be OK.
Even Amazon receipts are OK (not personal experience)

I guess iPad is categorise as tablet computer... Galaxy Tab 3G don't count  vmad.gif

iPad is still questionable.. there's a forumer got reply from lhdn that says ipad is not tax-deductable.
but some blogs says its deductable.. Here's the discussion on ipad

Hi, I started working June 2010, so I have to do the efilling as well??

most likely you won't have to pay any taxes unless your salary is like rm6k above per month..
No expected taxes doesn't mean you don't have to file the income tax.
But if you don't file the income tax, IRB can chase you for failing to declare your income.. but
it is not likely they do so for someone who (after calculation) got nothing to pay (tax)..

People are getting their refunds via cheque or direct bank-in already for those early bird users of E-Filling.

most people do but there's always some unfortunate people exist like me.. Each year I always entitled for refund
for a few hundreds.. it's been years but I never received anything.. A few weeks ago, I just noticed about
e-lejar, and found out that my refund already reach 1.5K ++.. that's the accumulative refund over few years..

Hi guys,

I've yet to receive an EA form from my previous employer which I left middle of last year. Is there something that can be done? They seem oblivious to the fact that they need to prepare one for me even though I left mid last year?

Any advice?

Thanks!

You should ask your HR, which university he/she graduated from...
As a person with diploma/degree in HR, he/she should know better ...

For Broadband receipts from TM, can we just keep the Page 1 of the TM bill ?
It states "Caj Perkhidmatan Internet"

Would that be sufficient or we need to keep the whole bill ?
*
I think, the rest of the bill is no more related to internet. It just a list of phone numbers that you made a call.
1st page should be sufficient..
