Your KWSP & Insurance will share a portion of max 6K. However, if you have maxed out ur KWSP, you may transfer the Insurance portion to your wife.

Just wondering....

For those taxable income above 70k, any excess above this will be taxed 26%. So those share divvies and unit trusts tax were charged by companies at 25%, do you still report all those into personal tax and pay another 1% on top of the company tax. Thank you for sharing. notworthy.gif

those divvies have already been taxed before paying you...why wanna pay again? smile.gif

As divvy is another source of income, we have to add into our personal tax, No? Or we can choose not to disclose our dividend received though it was taxed at 25% and taxpayer is now under the maximum tax bracket ie 26%. Anyone??

hmm.gif As i knew, the Divvy reporting is optional. you can choose not to disclose but you cant claim back the balance tax (for those taxable income below 26%)
*
So for those on the maximum tax bracket got to pay additional 1% if report. Is it lawful not to report hmm.gif I called Tax department officer and he said I can choose not to report but I dont know what he said is correct....

Rebate is for if your chargeable income IS below RM35k. Chargeable income is income after deducting all deductable....

Numbertwo : Those are taxable dividends

protonw & stupidGuyPlayComp : It is an offence for not disclosing. Penalty with be served upon if IRB find out this during desk or field audit.

I also think so. Anyway still not maximum tax, just to find out. tongue.gif

1st thing, go to nearest LHDN office to get the access.

2nd thing, after that, login and start key in the numbers based on the EA statement.

3rd thing, if you have relief for deductions, enter those too.

For personal relieves & rebates, refer to: http://www.hasil.gov.my/goindex.php?kump=5...3&unit=1&sequ=1

I think now can even get e-filing code by just:-

NO. PIN boleh di dapati melalui:
1.Cawangan LHDNM yang berdekatan
2.Melalui surat, faks atau e-mel* kepada
mana mana cawangan LHDNM yang berdekatan
Perlu disertakan:
i. No.Rujukan Cukai
ii. Alamat terkini
iii. Salinan Kad Pengenalan
(muka depan dan belakang)
3.Semakan secara online bagi Pembayar Cukai yang
mendaftarkan No. Cukai Pendapatan melalui e-Daftar

*Sila hantarkan permohonan anda ke pin@hasil.gov.my

LDHN is improving...

Added on March 29, 2011, 10:32 pmI got the English version:-
