There are total 6 pages in e-filing.
1.  Maklumat Individu | Particulars of Individual
2.  Pendapatan Berkanun &  Jumlah Pendapatan | Statutory Income and Total Income
3.  Pendapatan Tahun Kebelakangan | Income Of Preceding Years Not Declared
4.  Tuntutan Pelepasan | Deduction Claim
5.  Tuntutan Rebat / Tolakan Cukai /  Pelepasan Cukai | Rebate Claim / Tax Deduction / Tax Relief
6.  Rumusan Cukai | Tax Summary

Goto the last page, summary. The tax dividend paid is listed as

Tolak : Jumlah tolakan/pelepasan cukai
(Pelepasan cukai seksyen 132 & 133 terhad kepada jumlah cukai yang dikenakan)
Less : Total tax deduction/relief (Section 132 & 133 tax relief restricted to total tax charged)
I'm wondering if this is a systems glitch. If I click "submit", will I be penalised later for wrongful submission? ie, claiming as S 132 & S 133 instead of Section 51

For dividend you have to fill in the HK3 form Link in page 2. It will auto calculate the gross div & section 51 relief and auto fill for you . You DO NOT have to manually key in the set off. For Co dividends if you manually key in the gross and set off means you have done something wrong

If I get my house in Oct 2010, meaning that I can only deduct 3 months interest in 2010 and only 1 full year in 2011? Does it means that I rugi 1 year plus of tax deduction on interest? sad.gif

BTW, how was the deduction calculated?
Let's say the house price was 300K. Monthly installment RM1400 for 30 years loan.
*
the relief starts the 1st month your start repaying the house loan, if u start at month OCT'10, u rugi 9 months for 2010, but can claim full years for 2011 and 2012.

your bank loan statements will list down how much interest has been paid each month, if don't have, call the bank

"The tax dividend paid is listed in

Tolak : Jumlah tolakan/pelepasan cukai "
^ the above is correct. (ignore the parenthesis cos it doesn't apply to ur situation)

If they didnt ask you to pay then no need to bother. But you been working since 2008 I m sure you will have to declare unless your salary is on the lower bracket.

less than RM2.5k per month or per annum; but, no matter how low your income, just declare, it doesn't hurt to do so.....

@Eng_Tat
It all depends on what has been declared in your BE form. You still need to declare your income even you do not need to pay.

is that gross or net salary? What is your total income under your Form EA that your employer should have given you?

This year is my first year starting to do e-filling.... (i saw lhdn personnel come to my house investigate since they suspect my uncle something)

1. Go to LHDN submit borang to get E-filling Pin (need photostat IC)
2. LHDN will send you the pin in letter after 1 week.
3. take the pin log in to lhdn website to register.
4. Start filling your income follow your EA form given from your boss.
5. Filling your expenses (eg. insurance, book, computer, misc but remember will proof)
6. sumbit n print out the resit then go to pay at lhdn counter
7. cry.gif money fly aways from your pocket

guys, got some quick question to ask on filling e-BE form. notworthy.gif

on my EA form under section A listed my rough income and parking allowance
and then the parking allowance is also listed under section G which inform that it's tax exempted

so when filling up my e-BE form under Pendapatan Berkanun dan Jumlah Pendapatan for the part Pengajian.

1) what figure should i key in?
a) do i key in the total income including with my parking allowance or the total income after minus out my parking allowance?

2) if i put the total income including with my parking allowance for Pengajian then where do i key in the parking allowance for rebate?

WTA, had anyone of you received a letter from LHDN stating that "the overpayment of PCB 2009 could not be processed in time, and LHDN will contact you if there are further enquiries regarding the efilling".

I submitted my tax return form before my wife, but she got the letter and i didn't get any.

Does this mean LHDN is going to audit her or it's just a normal letter everyone who claim tax returns will receive?

Just went to LHDN Klang branch earlier. The staff there were really helpful, they explained everything to me from A - Z. Now all I need to do is fill up the form and hand it over to them. Then after a week, go there again to request for pin to do E-Filing. Afterthat done! biggrin.gif

My advise to those haven't file your income tax do it NOW.
In fact do it e-filing way. Its really hassle free. You can call up immediately if you have any queries/ uncertainties. Then can submit thereafter. I e-filed early March and already got by 're-imbursement' end March. Very efficient rather than wait till last min.

Does adding the Parking Allowance in Section A + Section G = total Parking Allowance received ?
Figures under Section G DO NOT need to be entered, it is there for reference.
