i swear i read your post 3 times, but i still dont quite get what you mean.
so we can change rear drum brakes to disc brakes la? just like h line? cos i cant wait to smoke road bullies when in pg bridge.
Added on April 25, 2011, 6:20 pmpls put me on the list too, and also spark plug pls? the other bulk list is air filter right? i want too! thanks!
For the spark plug & air filter, please refer to Zeng. I only handle brake pads

Ok, like this..
U go & take a look at ur car's brakes.
Front = Disc brakes, the 1 with a caliper & shiny rotor.
Back = Drum brakes, the 1 that doesn't have caliper & rotors.
To change ur back brakes to disc brakes, u need to go to a halfcut shop to get a whole complete set of disc brake system including brake pump, brake hose & ABS. This will easily cost u RM 800-1000 depending on the brake system u chose.
Unless if u're filthy rich, go for new, OEM disc brake system, at RM 3500.

Lazy to travel so far + toll-mah. The rear seat sound, even after wrap the rubber tape on the hook, when pass the bump if my both rear tyre is not parallel, will have 'ngek' sound. Very obvious every time go up & down car park ramp.
After thigten the screw on the Safe belt, got improve a bit. But still can notice very minor sound. Simple way, I just back from petrol station, when I drive through those 'round petrol tank cover' on the floor, can hear.
The SC people told me if still got sound have to sent to Service Branch, they might change the whole seat-wor.
I have 1 friend also same sound, after sent to Sc, they take out the whole seat, dunno what they did, put back then no sound. But here refuse to take out the seat.
Oh. Then simple lah. DIY a bit.
"Ko buat lah sendiri...."

U fold down the rear seats, spray some WD-40 at the bottom part, the hinge. Then try again. Sometimes it's just minor simple stuffs like this that we overlook.
And also try to check if the sound really came from that part of the car. As u're sitting in front, the noise may be confusing & may not be what u think it is..
Added on April 25, 2011, 6:29 pmBULK ORDER V5 Rapid Stop 550'C Brake Pads. Front only, RM 130. For H-Line owners with rear disc brakes, if you want the rear brake pads as well I'll have to ask for a different quotation from the dealer. For now the bulk is for front brake pads only.

Pros of RS:
1. Higher working temp.
2. Doesn't need to warm up first every time u start ur car to provide immense braking power.
3. Less fading, lasts longer.
4. Less brake dust than OEM pads.
5. Price.
Cons of RS:
1. Needs bedding in.
2. Not so well known like MKT.
3. Can be spongy if not bed in correctly.
If possible, a TT will be held where buyers will be given their brake pads and will be taught on how to bed in the brake pads accordingly & evenly.
RM 130 only, need at least 10 members here to get bulk price. Might be able to get cheaper if more people join the bulk.
