White or black. I saw an all black asx with black rims. Looks fierce! I have the white which is practical though hard to keep clean. Happy with the white, looks bright and appealing, just needs to go to the car wash more often. White also keeps the heat out the best.
Grey/Silver looks.... Boring. But probably very low maintainence lar.

White not that hard to take care of lar. But the dust stains are quite obvious after a while. Car wash required every 2 weeks minimum for it not to be too obvious. Which isn't really very high maintainence to me lar.

QUOTE(Musikl @ Jan 13 2015, 09:50 AM) Anyone knows the differences for this years production model vs previous year? And would it be worth paying extra 3k for the DE version. The rims are sick. Considering the asx, xv, hrv and cx3 for my purchase mid year. Asx and XV should be the biggest of the bunch since its a C Segment Crossover. HRV and CX3 are B segment Crossovers. Asx price quite a fair bit cheaper than the Xv and Asx is larger. Hrv and CX3 similar only due to price. Asx 2.0 C Segment vs 1.8 B segment HRV both should be same price. I'd go for the bigger car Imo. And knowing Honda, the base level HRV will not have alot of kit. You'll have to top up quite a bit for the GPS and leather seats while the ASX already comes with it at the base model. Test drive them all and see haha.

Asx is a very reliable car. Don't think much to look out for. Wow first owners of the XV must be screaming and cursing. When it first came out the Xv was 150k! Subaru seriously killing their earlier customers.
Anyway before buying the XV check out the Subaru service centers. There are not very many so you might need to see if that's ok with you before buying.

Looking at the pricing of the HRV and Honda's lack of accessories, I think ASX is still the value winner. If the 1.8 is released, base version should 120-125k (must be more expensive than the civic 1.8), it will likely have basic accessories. For leather seat GPS etc etc, The HRV will likely be in the 130k region. So would you pay 130k for a 1.8 HRV which is one class smaller than the 115k 2.0 ASX? No matter how I see it, the ASX is still the value winner. However Honda's brand is strong in Malaysia and they will still be buyers for the HRV guaranteed. Maybe suitable for ladies who don't want such a big car. BTW just got my car serviced at the PJ service center. They fixed my gearbox rattle issue. The car is now perfect!
