u use gps with mobile network on or wifi on? or all network off just gps on ? . if with network i can detect my location . but without it cant detect any gps sattelite

Try GPS Fix. Can use with or without internet. Your GPS should lock faster. But try outside.

hi guys, does anyone have problem where your Desire S just randomly reboots by itself? happened to me twice already...

Happened to me when i installed CIMB Clicks. Uninstalled it and back to normal.

ahh ok. i'm not sure what apps is causing my problem. because in the 2 times that it happened, the gap is like a few weeks apart :S

ya i tried that after timeout still cant detect any . and i still locate my phone at window. is the gps work if i had very very very clear sky view? i did google it many people having same problem . some able to detect 1 or 2 sattelite outdoor in 10 to 20 minutes. but some 1 hours also cant get any .

Not that bad i guess. Phone need to restart anyway after a few weeks.

Wah maybe your GPS got problem? After GPS Fix, my Maps can lock in less than a minute very accurately. Before GPS Fix it struggles to find where i'm at with very poor accuracy of up to 2km. Now accurate up to 20m. Should be able to find 9-10 sattelites.

Hi guys,i juz bought a 2nd hand desire s from lowyat seller.
It is ap set. After received the phone,i do factory reset both sd card and phone itself. My problem is, the soft button(home,application,back and search button) din light on.i try to calibrate g-sensor and it does light on once,after tat the light goes off and no matter how many times i calibrate it still din light on,any possible problem wif it?
And,i go into market,try to download some free apps,it prompt up wif the apps will be downloaded,after sec the download cancel without any notification,no matter how many times i download,it juz repeat the same thing.i try to clear the cache as well,but it does not help anything.Anyway,my market is version 2.3.4 though.Pls advice.

haiz i think nvm on that la when i using mobile network or wifi it detect my location . well i dont really use navigation .

Added on June 28, 2011, 11:50 amfor the softkey light it detect your area lightning . if ur light sensor detect more light ur softkey light will off . if the light off even in dark room i think is hardware or software problem . btw there is app to make the light stay on when ur screen is on but i forgot the name of that app .

for the app download. is it happen to all downloads???

ya i juz found out the lighting of softkey depends on the environment...
yes,it happen to all download,i remove google account,do a factory reset,replace wif another google account,it is still the same.

if could be your network problem??? try use another network connection .
