hmmm not sure but someone in xda forum mentioned custom kernel will definitely make the phone fly... o_o Might be control of power and OC-ing?

yes...the kernel is something that will control or contact directly with hardware of the phone...since the bootloader is locked...the developers create new kernel (custom kernel) to take 100% control of the device...
btw it is still not 100% complete yet...mmmmmm |

I've upgraded to 2.3,downloaded a couple of "official" addons from xda.the bravia engine and the xloud.seems to be ok,my phone now no more bunyi semut(slow ringtone) with the cost of the power controller widget.anyone tried it d?any bad side effects?

Another way to maximize your global audio output is by using an app in the market called Equalizer which can modify it to your accepted levels as well as enabling custom equalizer on the stock music player for free. This app is only compatible with 2.3 and above so yay to the gingerbread update |
