Quadrant: 8XX @998MHz and 903@1113MHz (Actually this benchmark doesn't seem to be that accurate)
Linpack: 34.XX @998MHz 37.XX@1113MHz
Neocore: 22.XX-23.XX

CPU Master settings are at interative governor.

Other than that this ROM is super smoooth biggrin.gif

I skip part 4 and 5 of the installation procedure since I don't use Link2SD and using the zKernel (15.07.2011) patch  icon_rolleyes.gif

Okay , i dont get the main idea actly. sweat.gif

EWJET XKernel Version X2.2ex Rom

i took this one
( NEW EWJET XKernel Gingerbread (+ ADW Launcher v136 + Boat Browser v2.3) Version X2.2ex: X10x.2.1.B.0.1.EWJET.XKernelGinger.fll.X2.2ex )

--> but i currently in 2.1-update1 firmware . shud i need to flash to 2.1.B.0.1 before flash again to this custom rom ?

--> and this rom using .67 baseband , im using 2.1.54 baseband . how ? hmm.gif

--> what is kernel use for like step 6 below? as this one use xKernel , while u using zKernel . confuse rclxub.gif

6 - Choose Kernel Patches to flash through xRecovery, but first wipe dalvik-cache and fix permissions.*
Modded Kernel DooMKernel or zKernel or FreeKernel by erickwill | 2.6.29 - NEW BOOT SCREEN

so , am i gonna stick with step in post #2 ?

Thanks in advance notworthy.gif

since its 2.1, should be okay.

Go to post #3, update your baseband to .67 through flash, not CMD.

Kernel? not sure, but i never touch it since the rom got itself.

Hope this can help. biggrin.gif

Added on July 18, 2011, 1:45 pmWhoa!! Help !! My battery drain issue..

WIfi = off
BT = off
Background data = off
data traffic = off

I installed my x10 with launcher pro and auto kill app in every screen off using advance task killer.

I just charged it to full, its not yet 2hrs my phone being switched on after fully charged, and it shows my battery left only 89%. whoa, thats fast without open wifi and app. just let it idle and sms.

My x10 never stay alive to 12hrs..... =(

1. PLEASE UNINSTALL ADVANCE TASK KILLER. it rather kill your phone . more negative effect than positive smile.gif

-> if use task killer, it makes problem to cache . damage ur phone
-> its clears memory of that apps, so when u try to open up the same apps it takes longer time and use more batery (see the logic?)
-> android system is diff . It closes the apps automaticaly running apps at background

do please uninstall it icon_rolleyes.gif

2. try Simple Guide To Boost SE Xperia X10i Stock 2.1 Éclair Performance in post #4 .

then ur phone shud be alright . mine , got same problem with yours . Use this 2 steps , battery now last for 2 days with heavy use whistling.gif

We're talking about auto task killer, which automatically closes tasks.. Actually Android 2.2+ already solved this 'memory issue' so there's no need for it on Android 2.2+

I think u better flash stock 2.1.B.0.1 firmware (comes with BB .67) and then root and install xRecovery, then boot to xRecovery and Reset to factory default, Wipe Cache, Advanced>Wipe Dalvik Cache and then you flash the custom ROM.

Step 6 u better choose zKernel seems stable.

i just uninstalled advance task killer and my memory killer optimizer.. hopefully it will help.

You mean if i've open an app, then i am just being given option to press back but no exit option. Android system will automatically close it? i am newbie to android..

eheh relax beb.. he (devil94) is just trying to point out a fact.. not suddenly barged in a wrong channel here..

I'm also going say the same thing.. I'm using Advance task killer on both phone my X10 and my wife SG Ace..

on my X10 ATK is not frequently use but for my wifey SG Ace with GB 2.3.4.. sometimes really slow and jerky on home screen.. then I use ATK manually..kills unwanted running apps..
and SG Ace performance back to normal..

but just like Eugene said.. Automatic task killer.. on every hour is not good.. well maybe. if your phone got so many Interval Apps running such as Twitter,Facebook, Yahoo!, Skype!, YM,Gmail, engadget,Xda,antivirus etc etc.. then your phone gonna have memory leaks.. such as reboot or system hang or laggy

sory bro . shock ady , suddenly he came out like dat . no hard feelings tongue.gif

idk , but seems those ATK are problematic one . forcing to clear the ram , cache etc etc may damage the rom in long period of time using it. but i prefer make it stick with the flow let it be close auto biggrin.gif

Yes you can jump to 6 and use zKernel.. Just remember to follow steps provided by Erickwill in his ROM thread.

FINAL and STABLE REALEASE modded by EW (no WLOD and still performance improved) - ewX.tweaks.xkernel.X9h - zKernel (15.07.2011) for .67 baseband - http://www.mediafire.com/?zbuztbr8kmf1tw1 - (thanks to Z)

I did post a quote in my reply before that's what zKernel does.. it makes the phone faster and smoother in layman's terms thumbup.gif

huh??

xRecovery no need to be reintalled what it mean was boot to xRecovery wipe dalvik-cache and fix permission(Advanced>Fix Permission in xRecovery)

the delete 'scriptz' folder is when you switch kernel/patches always.. so you have to delete the scriptz folder(Now since u never flash no need to).

u just flash the Patch/kernel.zip like u flash the ROM
