guys, i have an issue here. something wrong with the wifi, its not error, not sod, it just couldnt obtain IP address and connect to the network. im 100% sure that the passcode is right for the wifi network and yet, i couldnt connect, it keep showing obtaining IP address....

anyone face this issue? i googled up, and the only way is factory reset.
how sad... but that's for galaxy S and not so sure if its for our ace.

Try restart your modem router , I think not your android phone problem. Try test connect to others ppl wifi . cuz i have the same problem as you..

Yup, sometimes modem settings can make this kind of thing happened or the modem need to restart status is u on for too long (let said few weeks - based on modem model).

well, actually its my company's wifi, and i couldnt connect, but my fren can connect his iphone, so could it be the setting on the router? maybe i should really go home and try my own wifi and see if this problem re-occurs..

The latest firmware for the Galaxy Ace is *****DXKC1. If yours is DXKC9 and want to update it, install the CD that came with the phone and connect your phone to the PC. A message will appear saying that a firmware update is available. Just click yes and it will take some time to update. Please make sure your KIES programme is up-to-date.

The Galaxy S II and Ace are from two different price range. It won't affect one another.

just bought my Ace on Monday 2nd May....
at mines...."Samsung Mobile" booth upper than TGV...
that girl give me better price...
basic package (2GB microSD + white back cover) = 960
upgrade to 8GB = 70
install PapaGO full version = 40
case protector = 30
total = 1100.....

way better than Samsung Mobile shop on the other side..

Could have been a maximum of 1060

overpriced
