Added on July 25, 2011, 5:01 pmSamsung will release the update through kies by next month. Russia and Poland has already got the update (16July) . The rollout date for Malaysia is not fixed yet.

hey there, i've just switched to data plan (maxis) to have a try and see, so sometimes I enable packet data and sometimes I disable it when I don't use it. But sometimes packet data can't be enabled at all, even though I tried restarting my phone several times, and now it can't get enabled, any advice and help?

is it enabled packet data but no able to surf net?

but beware of maxis data plan, maxis will bill u a bomb if u over the quota... but for digi, either will slower down the speed or block directly... my friends switched from maxis to umobile due to the "uncontrol" and maxis charge him a bomb and umobile have unlimited internet usage @ RM28 under prepaid...

yup, its really annoying sometimes, I try not to enable/disable it too much

lol, yea, I'm watching the bomb grow now, am considering to revert back to prepaid on my maxis num, then add a data plan to my digi num, maxis gives freakishly high unexplained bills

perhaps try umobile RM28 prepaid, got unlimited internet + 100min voice call + 30 sms...

Looking through Umobile's plan... Not bad at all... But per sms outside of Umobile network is 8 sen... o.O

use whatsapp or other application to do messaging lo...
currently i using digi smart plan lite have 300mb only to spam whatsapp with each others...

another custom rom have appeared with its latest update v1.1 on xda http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1184108 take a look and give it a try

a lot of people in xda had tested it and like it, this rom is based on the KPH stock firmware so english is a yes for chinese u need to use pinyin i think but just read the thread all over for any more info... i'm still satisfied with coderomnexus until there is a true cooked custom rom i wont change it

Yeah.. me too.. Flash coderom nexus.. satisfy with it.. just flash cf-root with ram optimizer.. now it smooth.. Maybe ill wait for coderom v2,cyanogen or gingerreal to change..

A lot when i was in 2.2.1.. Its a common problem for Ace with froyo.. If u dont want to flash to GB, just wait for the official update via kies..
