i see from newspaper ads today from samsung... SGA can update to GB dy? so the update come out dy??? any1 noe?

maybe try to disable "auto sync" under the "applications"

previously my google map keep auto update and wasting my data quota + draining battery life...
so i disabled it, so far no update from google map...

There dont seem to be any news from internet.. and there is no update on KIES..

heard frm other forum say the GB will come out end of July... Hope its real o.O

Can see in Sin Chew ads today... mb go centre ask them update to GB is much safer.... going this weekend. Will lets u guys know d results =)

that is only your phone got problem, or maybe use problem. you better change to old type phone that only can call and message, for sure wont lag and battery last few days...

Added on July 8, 2011, 12:37 amFYI, gingerbread for SGA already come out few month ago, and the latest firmware 2.3.4 also come out 1 month ago, a lot of SGA user in LYN including me also using 2.3.4 . but that 1 is EURO version... Asia version not yet...

Battery and auto shutdown, agreed. But lag and slow... not really, seems pretty zippy, standard 800Mhz performance.

What other LYN? I thought there's only one LYN?

yup... my silly mistake, should under "account and sync"

anyway, i reset my phone last week and i tried to access into andriod market via wifi to download google map manually (to avoid auto update)... i cant find the google map apps no matter how i search around... later i use my laptop access into the website, realized that market andriod informed me that google map no compatible with my SGA... no idea why like that, maybe i disabled the "auto sync" once i reseted my phone to factory settings, so my google maps no able to communicate with market andriod whether my phone can pair with google map... the error message as below prompted from market andriod

Hi, may i know how to install application to SD card without root?

I just realised that i forgot that when i go android market that time i need to on the background data which also on 'auto sync', then no wonder the google maps also auto update...my mistake....so i think disabling 'auto sync' would stop maps auto update.
Why not you on back auto sync and wait for update, seems after uninstalling update, it auto updates quickily again.....thats what i noticed...

actually i realized that once my google map updated at the first time... is fine if update once a while... but the next day it update again... fulamak... i switch off the "use packet data" and "auto sync" immediately, restart my phone also to remove the downloaded cache files... but google map still continue update if i enabled back "use packet data" even though still disabled "auto sync"...

so from now i disabled "auto sync" once i reset my hp... hence i also dont want my andriod auto sync with my gmail & other account and unnecessary download waist my data usage quota and draining my battery life too...
