if u ain't got the greens, i suggest this phones. in its price range, this is the beast. but, with an extra 300-500, could get galaxy S or SL.

Just bought SGA yesterday. My first android phone

After charging it for 6 hours, i rooted my phone using SuperOneClick V1.7 which can be found on this thread first page. (BTW i wonder why rageagainstthecage file inside SuperOneClick V1.7.rar detected as trojan by Nod32)

Overall I am satisfied with this phone, but sadly no custom rom available yet


SOD is screen of death. From what i had been read, wifi driver is the one cause for SOD on SGA (correct me if i were wrong )

ok im just a little scared since i see about 90% of them face this problem. and the only solution is using the old firmware or turning off the wifi? does this mean u gotta stay with factory settings to avoid the problem?

You forget to off data roaming?

Settings>>Wireless and Networks>>Mobile Networks>> OFF USE PACKED DATA AND DATA ROAMING. Only enable 2g networks.
