Yup, send it for warranty.
Can't for sure how long it will be since it also depends on the stocks availability..

Can you boot into BIOS and choose to restore default settings, and back to Windows see got the nVidia back ?

If still don't have, turn off the laptop, unplug battery, power adaptor, press and hold the power button for 5-6 seconds, then plug in everything back, back to Windows.

hi guys..i've been searching for a guide to disassemble a42ja/k42ja..but failed..got one from kaskus but its an old article and the pictures no longer being hosted..any from here or in old threads?

the proc temps seems too high compare with when 1st i bought it..the airflow from the heatsink vent is so little...i suspect might be some dust blocking the air to be blown out..

sometime the lappy shutdown itself when browsing while watch a movie..

not a full guide though..

If you don't use it, can disable.
There is, Alienware M14x and Asus N45SF, but N45SF currently have problem and not recommended..

Uninstall and install new one should be no problem..

Have you uninstall Asus Web Storage ?

As for touchpad, tried reinstall the touchpad driver and ATK ? Fn + F9 to disable touchpad.
