Guys , i've been in this thread last time just to find out what's the problem with my A42JA. Everytime i play Black OPS, it just lags . Eventhough it's on lowest settings , it lags. When i exit the game, the desktop lags too . May i know what is going on with my laptop?

Btw. i updated all the drivers. Really confused

Hi guys, I have this a42jv that supposedly can play sc2 on ultra. But I can't even reach 40 fps on medium. Why is this?

Just bought A series. The reseller tell me to burn recovery disk, 25GB which requires 6 DVD disks.

In asus there is a software to help you to burn the recovery disk. Can i just create the recovery image and store into my external hard disk, instead of burning DVD disk? If can, how?

You would eventually need to burn it to disc since can't boot the image..

Where you see it supposed to run Ultra ?

As long as the unit they give you was from a sealed box, it's a new, virgin unit.

Well, you need a HDD caddy to support the SSD. You'll have to remove the ODD though.

Well, it can run, just how fast is the problem. I never play SC2 more than medium, the difference in graphics in a heated battle isn't that much to begin with.

hi, i am using A53SV. and today i encounter some problem. first one is about the power4gear. when i double click it at the gadget there, nothing come out which means that i could not choose among the 4 categories. and the hotkey on the keyboard is also not working. the second problem is about the hotkey. usually when i press Fn+F5-F12, an icon will pop up at the middle of the screen but now no matter what Fn+F5-F12 i pressed, there is no icon appears at the middle of the screen but it appear some uglier notification at the top left corner. can someone help me please? your help is much appreciated.

Install ATK from the utilities driver..
and just uninstall the Power 4 Gear, you can do the same thing from Windows Power Management..

so i just go to download the latest version of ATK from asus website? i have another question. my laptop is actually A53SV, but i keep see K53SV, so which model should i select to download the ATK? if i dont want to uninstall the P4G, does it has other way to solve this?

A53Sv is the same with K53Sv, just different country has different name.

Try reinstall the P4G.

If you still have the original Windows, it should be inside C:\eSupport, all driver/utilities should be there...

can i know whats the best asus series now? cause i see alot of N, U, A series and more,not gonna compare gaming series though. i wanna know the best one in terms of specs between these series.
