hey guys anyone of you updated your BB to  OS7.440 xperience where your BB sound alert not alerting and when i try to listen to the sound it say Invalid ring tone selected....

Anyone got their Bold 9900 from Maxis Centre? I went to Maxis Centre Sunway Pyramid last Friday but out of stock. Their staffs don't even know when the new stock coming.

Latest update on version .440 from my experience..

Earlier this evening I did a soft reset on my BB because it was lagging slightly; something I hadn't experienced before on my Bold9900.
After I soft reset my BB, it couldn't stop reseting.
It showed the load up screen till fully loaded then restart again repeatedly.

In the end I had to go home and revert back to version .353
So far it's running fine on .353

Previously I was using .353 for about 2 months w/out any problems.
Wonder if anyone encountered anything similar?

yeap...its normal...bold 9900 is running a processor 1.2ghz on a 1200mah batt...but it tends tu run out of juice pretty fast..

i've setup my phone as following:

Backlight display : 10
Backlight timeout : 10 sec
Automatically Dim Backlight : Checked
LED Coverage Indicator : Unchecked

Sound : Medium (every alert set at 5+ 1 vibrate count)

and it does last longer around a day and a half .. it can last longer then before..   

may be i dont play around with it that much.. just replying emails...BBM..and twitter only.. dont browse on my bold that much..

BTW OS7 on the 9900 boots up very fast, much quicker than earlier devices/OSes.

Just a bit of investment needed to get yourself a charging dock and a spare battery and to swap the batt when the juice is nearly gone..

Anyone got any cool casing for this 9900? Does bb have those alum casing like for iphone4? I prefer hard casing. Last time got a snap on back casing for my current 9700. Thx.

hey i got by blackberry 9900 about 3 weeks ago and noticed that it restarts randomly at times. Maybe 2 to 3 times a day. Any reason for this? ive resetted it to factory settings and deleted all apps.. still the same problem. Anyone experiencing this?

Btw i noticed when call people, suddenly while talking its like its being muted although it is not, and it Doesnt say disconnected either..

And the person on the other side always says cannot hear me clearly like i am in a noisy environment eventhough i am in my room alone..

Why my keypad at chrome line disappear edy? seems like the paint went off.. seems so ugly edi now..
