Yes you can. Just register a BIS Sim with your preferred Telco.

Of course the BB itself also not a Telco locked set, that is most important.

Hey there, thanks for replying so quickly!

So if I buy an AP set from a local dealer, I'll be able to enjoy full benefits of the BB even though the telco themselves have not released the phone themselves? The only difference is that I don't have any warranty if I buy the AP set, correct?

I'm planning to do a major bridge jumping though. From my old Nokia N97 symbian to a BB and from Digi to Maxis. So sorry if my questions seem irrelevant to the thread!

Yes you are correct... Just make sure the set is not lock set then you are safe to own it and use it here...

The build up of the phone and material used to produced is quite promising and it looks solid and have sleek-ish design. RM2188 is quite expensive. Wait for it to cool down first
